As I was checking my son's Facebook today before he got on in order to hide all of the sinful content, I was particularly disturbed to find that essentially overnight, a rapper named "Unkle Adams" has recently seemed to take the youth by storm. As a pediatrician, I consider it my duty to stay informed on what's hip and fresh with the youth, that I might better understand what is killing our children's love of GOD, and boy, did I ever stumble onto a doozy here!
"Unkle Adams" (the misspelling is intentional, since children are drawn to misspelled things, I think partly because they are poor spellers and feel as if they are in good company when adults do it) is a so-called "motivational" and "clean" rapper who claims to "rip the mic" without discussing guns, whores, jewelry, murder, etc. In other words, instead of warning children about the dangers of these things through his music, he is content to let them sin as they please so long as they listen to him. After listening to his material, I have found him to be not only thoroughly anti-Christian, but a serious danger to Christian youth precisely because he presents himself as being a clean and motivating alternative to mainstream rap, which in no way attempts to hide its wickedness. Take him as an illustration of Matthew 6:1-7 and do not be deceived!
Apologies for showing NSFW photos here of a nearly-nude sinner, but it illustrates his wickedness far better than words could ever convey:

Unkle Adams: Possessed by the beast!

Is Unkle Adams stronger than GOD? He'd like to think so, and he'd be wrong!
Please be aware that this video is not suitable for children:
If you are unwilling to subject yourself to this, I don't blame you, but in short, he raps about his unrepentant pride in his physique while showing off his shirtless, nearly-nude body, as well as showing off the bodies of women wearing extremely skimpy "gym clothes." He touches both women and men in 'high fives' while instructing the listener on how to engage in physical vanity, completely ignoring Galatians 5:16-21, 1 Samuel 16:7, and of course who could forget 1 Timothy 4:8? We can see who this Unkle Adams character really is: A boastful pervert!
Just look at some of these lyrics:
"Half mechanical animal goin' beast mode... My 'inner strength' comes out when I summon it... I'm runnin' this now sort of like the government."
In the bible, the most references to any "beast" are in Revelation 13:1-18 about the beast, the anti-Christ, who will be given power over the Earth and who will have many followers. In just one example of his lyrics for the song aptly titled "Beast Mode," we see him not only glorifying the flesh, but stating that he is running things like the government and that he can summon his--and not GOD'S--strength at will, implying that he commands the beast within him. Since no Christian would ever invite the devil to do anything but stand behind them, we can only assume that this Unkle Adams character is at best a warlock worth of death and at most, if he is to be believed, a demon greater than any of the ones which would possess him. The kicker? He lists himself as a "motivational speaker" on his website and sets himself up as a leader.
"I dress nice but I train dirty," so at best, he promotes the use of steroids, and at worst, he is actively suggesting he is training himself to corrupt youth with sin. Leviticus 10:10 and 2 Corinthians 6:17 are very clear about being dirty in the eyes of the LORD.
"Listen I'm about to bring the heat," Revelation 21:8 tells us just what he is preparing here, Unkle Adams is preparing the fires of hell and is looking to recruit more children with his "gangsta rap" music into a life of profligacy and worldly idolatry.
"Adrenaline pump machine gun heart beat," Psalm 11:5 tells us where this leads! Who was it again who claimed not to rap about guns? That makes him a liar, too, doesn't it? Psalm 101:7, the LORD has your number, Adams! If you're not the Antichrist, better repent while you can!
"No complaints I just do what it takes/to get it done and slam back a protein shake," what a disgusting sentiment, that you're willing to do anything to drink another man's ejaculate. That's right, don't think I don't know that you're using hippity-hop slang and ebonics to try and sell sex to my kids without me knowing, I'm onto your game, Unkle Sodoms!
"With headphones blastin' I'm superhuman/Ready to go savage jacked on music/This here's a habit not a resolution," so here he is openly stating that he believes himself above human, ie, above GOD and HIS law, and that he uses music as a drug. Then, he comes right out and says that it is a drug habit rather than a positive resolution for children! At this point, he's doing my job for me and just coming right out and saying that he is a doped-up rap-crap-slinging devil-lover.
I know GOD will strike Unkle Adams down if he does not repent. The Biblical evidence against Unkle Adams is overwhelming:
Personally I allow my son very few rap artists in the house, but so far the most Biblical has been "The Death Grips," which I would strongly recommend as a hip and quite happening alternative to Unkle Adams. I dare you to find something unbiblical about most of their songs! "Feels Like A Wheel," for example, is a song about nothing more sinful than checking tire pressure. Then there's the extremely pro-Christian song "Lord of the Game," a rap from the LORD'S perspective about the wrath that awaits proud sinners! I implore you to find positive Christian music like this to replace any perverted "Unkle Adams" albums that you find your children listening to, it could save their soul!

I know GOD will strike Unkle Adams down if he does not repent. The Biblical evidence against Unkle Adams is overwhelming:
- Countless verses tell us that his pride will destroy a person. Proverbs 11:2, Proverbs 16:5, Proverbs 29:23, Proverbs 16:18, Proverbs 27:2, Philippians 2:3, Jeremiah 9:23, need I go on? Of course I would love to, but these all boil down to one key point: GOD DESTROYS THE PROUD! GOD in HIS glory hates the proud, the boastful, and those who prattle on about their body and their accomplishments. Unkle Adams proved all of this, and I only used one song! He even has another song, "I Am Unkle Adams," which is really nothing but one long-winded boast about how he is on his way to the top. Maybe to the top of GOD'S list of sinners!
- We know he is a dope fiend into steroids. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 is all we need to know that being a steroid pusher is wickedness that will lead him to an early grave, although one can only hope that he may learn a harsh lesson in humility that way, so perhaps it's for the best that he keeps up his steroid racket.
- He is addicted to music that gets him high. We know that addiction to wicked music is as bad as any drug! Romans 12:2 tells us not to be worldly, and his "rap" is nothing if not completely worldly, just watch the video if you dare! We know that music has a strong impact on those it reaches, for both good and bad, Mark 4:24 tells us so. In my heart, I always recall 1 Samuel 15:23, knowing that to rebel against the LORD and HIS ways is the path to damnation, and there will be no rapping in hell, just the sound of the devil's laughter as his pitchfork is rammed repeatedly straight up each sinner's urethra! If you don't believe me, you're calling CHRIST a liar.
