13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

It's sad that in today's world, we are being told that if we punish our children that we are committing a form of child abuse. Personally, I think it's child abuse if we DON'T discipline our children!! It sickens me to no end how rebellious children (particularly the unsaved heathens) have become over the years! Praise Jesus we taught our little Vinnie not to go around such people and to fellowship with True Christian(tm) children.

Hi Mr Coreleone. This is a topic I found very, very close to me. I used to be a hippie parent, worrying about my child's "happiness" and to make him "progress", giving him "opportunities" and staff like that.

I realized when I became a Christian (a True one) the errors of my ways.


So Mr Coreleone, can I ask you some questions?


1) Which size of rod do you favor? I prefer 18 inches, but I am not so close minded not to accept advice here


2) About materials, do you favor the old fashioned wood, or more modern sintetic materials. I used to be a wood fanatic, but now I've learn some hard plastics are equally useful. Have you considered iron? Steel?


3) How long do your children stay black and blue? Mine I think are weak, because they stay like that like a week.


Anyway, how good it is to use this site for the very intention it was created, to discuss how to be a better Christian! And not arguing with heathens, atheists and the likes, about things that are not important! PRAISE THE LORD!

I don't know how much help I can be to this, but, to answer your questions in a nutshell, I would recommend an 18 inch steel rod. I use that on little Vinnie when he gets out of line. I don't like using plastic myself because it just doesn't have the effectiveness that a steel rod would. As for the time element, the average time would be a month.


I agree, no heathen is worth anyone's time. I feel that letting sweet Jesus deal with the Heathens is best. At the end of the day, we all know HE will have the final call on where they will end up!
