At first glance, Ann Coulter would seem to be a truly righteous woman. She hates liberals with a passion just short of that which one would expect from God Himself. Adam's apple bobbing with muscular vigor, she has spoken out courageously against the evils of aborticide, atheism, evilutionism, pacifism, Islam, and faggotry, among many others. Simply put, she says what needs to be said when no one else is willing to say it. Seems like a Godsend, no? Could it be that she's just too good to be true?
Brothers and Sisters, it is my solemn duty to tell you that she is. Beneath Coulter's shiny exterior lie some very disturbing heresies.
I had to dig very deep indeed to find evidence of her sin. Very deep. But it's there all right, as plain as the nose on Jesus' face. For example, take a look at her answer to an interviewer's question regarding wishy-washy "Christian" evilutionists:
"God did not "cause" evolution because evolution doesn't exist. Thus, for example, He also didn't "cause" unicorns."
A witty response and a powerful analogy, am I right? Only if you've never read the Bible. Scripture is rife with references to unicorns, some metaphorical and some undeniably literal.
Isaiah 34:7
7And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
The fact that Coulter denies God's Word evinces one of two things: that (a) she does not consider the Bible to be God's literal Word in spite of His assurances that it is, or (b) she has never even read it in the first place! Either way, her claims of being a Christian are dubious at best. But it gets worse... much worse. Here's a footnote from her ostensibly beautiful book Godless: The Church of Liberalism:
"Throughout this book I often refer to Christian and Christianity...but the term is intended to include anyone who subscribes to the Bible of the God of Abraham, including Jews and others."
Say WHAT?! Let's take another look at that sentence.
"Throughout this book I often refer to Christian and Christianity...
As well you should!
but the term is intended to include anyone who subscribes to the Bible of the God of Abraham,
But who else does that, except Christians?
including Jews and others."
STOP! Stop right there!
I don't even want to know what she means by "others." I really don't. The point here is that Ann Coulter—a self-professed Bible-believing Christian—refers to Joos as Christians! Again, I'm truly sorry to be the bearer of such disheartening news, but there it is, right in front of your face. She believes that Joos are Christians, that they follow Jesus, which is hard to do when you've brutally tortured and murdered Him. Let's see what Jesus Himself has to say on the matter.
John 8
39[The Joos] answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
40But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
41Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
42Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Do you see? Not only do they refuse to accept the Son, they also fail to worship the Father, instead prostrating themselves before the Dark Lord himself. Does Coulter even bother to read the Bible? This is Christianity 101, folks. And I haven't even mentioned that she uses her popularity to assert her authority over millions of men, in flagrant violation of Biblical decree. That should have been Red Flag #1.
So there you have it. Ann Coulter is nothing more than a lukewarm, Joo-loving false teacher who preaches dangerous lies and denies Scripture outright. Sad, but what's even more sad is the way she managed to slip her heresies under the radar of so many well-meaning Christians, including myself, for the longest time. The Devil works in mysterious ways... luckily for us, so does Jesus. Be always vigilant.
