This was my mother and father's toilet facility. Father on top as was his right.
1 Chronicles 16:15
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations ... an everlasting covenant.
Proverbs 30:5,6: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

At the moment yes they are very heavy blackout curtains. My daddy is thinking of installing one way glass in the windows though so we can actually look out of them. What's the point of windows if you're not going to use them right?

Be careful with one way glass when you have a light on in the shack. You must pull the curtains BEFORE you turn the light on or folk can see through the window.

When my parents were on a mission in Kenya, the natives built her a menstra hut.
The natives called her Grand Mother, as in great mother.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
Proverbs 19:25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
Ezekiel 16:14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
Proverbs 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
Genesis 24:16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.
Song of Solomon 1:15 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes.

Well, my menstra hut is nothing like any of yours. My husband likes to get rid of the filth every time I'm done with the unclean time, so he provided me with an 'easy to put up-tent' so I can take care of it myself whenever the time comes.
I've got a warm sleepingbag for the really cold seasons and a blanket for the warm. Right next to the tent is a water tap, a bucket and a showel which is only to be used by me. In the farthest back of our garden, he's given me a small piece of land (10x10 feet) to do my private business during that time. On the piece of land is also a little chest to put my belongings when the unclean time is over.
It's not much, but it does the trick. As long as The Lord's happy and he's happy, then I'm happy.
"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." - Revelation 1:8

None of the women in my family never had a menstra hut or anything before. I wasn't even aware that people still did that in this day and age.
I have so much to learn!

Seems that all you females are pampered, my wife was given an air mattress and a sheet of plastic to keep the rain and flies off!

I was raised by an unsaved family who believes that "that time of the month" isn't a big deal, so I don't go anywhere.

I was thrilled that the parsonage at my church came with a menstra shack in the backyard. It seems more than adequate to me.
Every time I'm dating a woman and show her this beautiful menstra shack, she is immediately overcome with emotion. Many's the lady who, recognizing how well I will provide for her monthly needs, runs off crying tears of joy.
Their insecurity then always comes to the fore. They can't understand a kind, generous man like me, and are suddenly full of seemingly-legitimate reasons not to see me again. "I have to wash my hair," or "I've taken a job in China, and they don't have phones there," or "I'm now in the Witness Relocation Program and have to sever all ties with my former life; if you keep calling, you could wind up dead."
Is the menstra shack just too glamorous for them?
I fear I will never understand women.

It's the same in my family. My daddy said that I could 'clean up my own mess just as well at home so why should he pay for me to go elsewhere to do so.'

If I had an extra shed like that I'd probably put all my tools in it.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

That's because he's a drunken papist mick who doesn't even know who to pray to. He probably prays to stauary, right? Kisses the pope's ring, right? If he followed the Holy Bible he would send you off during your unclean time.
Quote:
Leviticus 15:19-30
And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even. And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean. And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even. And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean. And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean. Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation. And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.

As erected by my great grandfather, for ages i couldn't work out why there were three until i found out he had produced triplets who apparently done everything together. Growing up it was nice having a choice of three.

In my family we simply have a caravan in the back of the garden.

I just have to say that a woman on her period is not "unclean". It is a natural thing that God created the woman to have. It's not dirty. So, a woman should not have to "go somewhere else" for 7 or so days to be away from her husband. I find that absolutely ridiculous and old-fashioned. And yes, I purposely made an account so that I could give my two cents on the matter because I find this whole thread to be ridiculous.
