What a Glorious Easter Sunday!!!! -
04-04-2010, 06:18 PM
What a glorious Easter Sunday it is, everyone. I have been thinking about just how glorious it is and then I got to thinking that it's pretty much glorious every Easter Sunday. Why could that be? Is it because GOD is on our side and he is trying to make our day better? Come to think of it, I don't think I have ever seen an Easter Sunday where it was not bright and sunny out. How is this not proof positive that Jesus Christ is the Lord and the Holy Bible KJV 1611 is God's word? Only a fool would deny such rock-solid evidence for the existence of God.
What did you all do today celebrate Christ's resurrection?
I went to Church and then I came home to try an rid my home of this bunny infestation I have going on. Somehow there are a bunch of bunnies underneath my house and they are multiplying like, well, rabbits. I was thinking about snapping all of their necks and then skinning them for a nice fur coat, but then I remember that bunnies are Satan's tools to lure good Christians children away from Jesus, so I decided against it. I am thinking about burning my home down, although I have to figure out how to do it without my insurance company getting wind of it.
Is there another way to get rid of the bunnies?

My dogs always find bunnies to be good sport, and it cuts down on the amount of dog food I have to buy.

Do you think I could borrow a few of them? They're such wretched creatures. See, they look cute on the outside, but in this case it's what's on the inside that counts. These are satan's pawns.
I need to rid my house of Satan's presence.

Happy Resurrection Day to you too! I spent three hours at Church this morning.

This is true. Bunnies are so good for the dog, not only does it give him a heart pounding workout to catch the agile creature, but he reaps a delicious reward when he catches it. If you are bent on doing it yourself, turn them into a stew and serve it with your dinner tonight. The bunnies are a blessing to you sent by God for your meal tonight, do not turn your back to his blessings.
Good day brothers and sisters!

No, no. This mormon came in here thinking he'd impress us by telling us how long he went to Church for today. Didn't work.

I apologize, they just had asked what we did, and since it took up my morning, I just figured I would say so. I apologize if by inserting the time frame is considered showboating or being proud. In hindsight, I probably should have just left out the church bit since I am sure that is where we all were this morning.

Oh, and I am Southern Baptist, not Mormon, those people are not of God since they allow polygamy inside their belief system. Marriage is between a man and a woman, not women.

i slept until 9:30 and ate a homemade baked apple tart for breakfast then walked for a local nonfat double chrome latte with shaved chocolate. then i hit the gym and did 10 laps and did a triple intensive yoga class followed by spin class and a steam. next i had a vegan blt and carrot fries for lunch and washed it down with a virgin perrier spritzer then it was off to the club for a late afternoon lunchdate that was abfab. we listened to a funky 2 man jazz fusion group from scoville and my fingers are sore from so many snaps up! then a a long walk back to my place holding hands with a kiss goodnight. now i am alone drinking a glass of local wine and reeling from my amazing sunday. it was a happy easter for me too.
this site should be removed because it offends those who choose to have alternative lifestyles and beliefs and that is wrong and discriminatory and i know discrimination when i see it

Dear friend:
Let me clarify that for you. Today, we follow monogamy because secular law commands us to do so. However, Biblically, marriage is between a man and as many wives and concubines as he wants and can afford:
Exodus 21:7-11: And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do. If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her. And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters. If he take him another [wife]; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish. And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money.
There is an exception for bishops and deacons. That may seem arbitrary, but who are we to question God's Law?
1 Tim. 3:2: A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
1 Tim. 3:12: Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

That is not in context (Exodus 21:7-11). 'Another woman" does not infer another wife. What this states is that if he chooses to seek another woman for marriage besides the maidservant, she must be released. No where does it infer that he be able to have another wife. The best way to view polygamy is that it is permanent adultery.
Polygamy is described in the Bible as adultery. Romans 7:1-3 condemns it as well.

That only talks about women.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Thats quite simple. If in effect, one has sex outside of his own marriage, or cheats or even lustfully thinks about a woman outside of his own marriage, then he is guilty of polygamy. Polygamy is in effect stating that since it desires to have another individual outside of marriage be married to said individual, there is an obvious lustful nature involved. Hence it is appropriate to think of polygamy as adultery in a permanent state that someone dedicates his/her life to.
Exodus 20:14 declares adultery wrong. Leviticus 20:10 states what the punishment for the sin was at the time without animal sacrifice.
That only talks about women.

1Do you not know, brothers—for I am speaking to men who know the law—that the law has authority over a man only as long as he lives? The next verse uses the example of women, but does not necessarily apply only to women because of verse 1.
Did you miss that?
