Which part of "Please leave!" did you not get?
Freedom means voting for Donald Trump!
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!

Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. Mark 14:12 And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover? Mark 15:25 And it was the third hour, and they crucified him. --

As I just pointed out, Jesus died at sunset just before Passover started. This is the exact same time that the lamb was killed.
I don't suppose I have to remind my esteemed colleagues that Jesus was the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world:
1 Cor 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
1 Peter 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
If Jesus wasn't killed at the same time as the passover lamb, how could we then be cleansed in the blood of the lamb?

Mark 16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. Luke 24:33-37 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them, ... And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
John 20:24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

According to St. Paul, Jesus appeared first to Peter, then to the twelve disciples and then to 500 brethren:
1 Cor 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
1 Cor 15:5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
1 Cor 15:6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
1st Corinthians 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
1st Corinthians 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
1st Corinthians 15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

Our Lord had observed the feast of Passover with His disciples:
Mark 14:12-16: And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover? And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him. And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? And he will shew you a large upper room furnished [and] prepared: there make ready for us. And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
This shows that the Passover lamb was a foreshadowing of Jesus as the Lamb of God.
This was a journey that Our Lord had to undertake alone. Peter denied Him three times:
Mark 14:66-72: And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest: And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth. But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew. And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is [one] of them. And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art [one] of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth [thereto]. But he began to curse and to swear, [saying], I know not this man of whom ye speak. And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.
When Jesus was crucified on the third hour (around 9 a.m. according to modern timekeeping), the religious leaders and even the thieves who were crucified with Him mocked Him:
Mark 15:25, 31-32: And it was the third hour, and they crucified him. * * * Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save. Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
Remember what Our Lord endured for His Elect so that we may enjoy eternity with Him.
|
Ugh, before I clean up this mess, why does God need permission to do anything?
Lets also understand, Messianic Jews understand that the time line doesn't work for Christians. "As Jonah was in the belly of the whale for 3 days and 3 nights" so was Yeshua buried. Passover for that week was on Tuesday, he was crucified on Wed, stayed in the grave Thur, Frid and Sat evening he rose again.
The Christian way doesn't take into account the time allotted for Yeshua to stay in the ground.

You tell us. Why did God institute animal sacrifice for sin in the OT and the sacrifice of His own Son in the NT, when He could have just said, "Okay, everyone, you're all forgiven?"

I read something about the Jews being responsible. I used to preach on how they all went crazy and went up to Pilate and ordered him to be killed in the New Testament. Its been a while since I've read it though as I'm just now getting back into the faith, could someone show me the passage that this happens? And according to you guys, the King James Version is the only true version we should use. Is this true and why? Why is it taking me so long to post anything?

My church always have this "Station of the Cross" going on every Good Friday, re-enecting what happen on the day of cruxificion.
I questioned the pastor of my church about the orgion of this "Station of the Cross". Apperently it's from the Roman Catholic church.
Sigh. Another thing that I disagreed with my pastor.

Are you serious? That "pastor" should be bitchslapped and thrown out of the church physically. How dare he call himself a Christian?!
What is the exact name of your church? I'd like to do a little research.

Verily, Pastor! Glorious day. The day when God's master plan came into fruition. His masterful design was finally revealed. First the pre-destined Fall of the first woman in her repulsive harlotry and the struggles of Judah and Israel against idols and sodomy. The Flood. Eight people surviving and begetting once more to populate the Earth. Babel. Daniel. It was becoming a mess and God needed a logical plan to bring order and hope into this chaos, repentance into the midst of vile sodomy. As an omnipotent entity He designed the only possible plan to get rid of the accumulating sin since the fall. Incarnation, becoming flesh and torturing that flesh in a most agonizing way - the cross - almost the worst way of execution imaginable (impalement could be worse) to give us again a chance for SALVATION.
As a newly-saved man after my years of youthful experimentation I sometimes imagined the pains Jesus must have had and the mind control He showed while hanging on the cross, lung capacity decreasing due to the unpleasant position of hanging by the arms and the desperate struggle to put more weight on the feet pierced by some rusty nails. Still He managed in His omnipotence to master the pain and convey important messages to His loved ones and to us. He managed to communicate with the Ghost.
Matthew 27:50
Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
Meaning that He had His wits unaltered as He should as God and our Lord. He was capable of anything so mastering the pain would have been easy for Him while being aware that despite the transient agony He would soon be resurrected by Himself and enter Heavenly Joys. That must have been Great Comfort and Solace to Him.
He is waiting for me by the Pearly Gates. It was not the End but the World will end soon with the Tribulations and our Rapture. I am so glad I don't have to go through as much pain as Jesus endured. Instead, He receives me into Joy thanks to His temporary sacrifice.
Matthew 13:20
But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it.
Yours in Christ,
Elmer

It is clear that Lord Jesus did not want joos and romans to be saved.
Mark 15: 29-32
If Lord Jesus had wanted that, he had stepped down from the Cross.

The traditional Stations of the Cross commemorate stories that add to Scripture, something we are not allowed to do (Proverbs 30:6).

Hi again, gang! It's Good Friday and I was expecting to see lots of Praise and Worship in compensation for quite an unpleasant afternoon that I had two millennia ago! Where is it? Apart from by good pal Isaac above, where is everybody? Instead, I'm seeing threads praising the Moses fellow who never got to the promised land and is at this very moment due his daily lava enemas in .
No questions for me today but hey, it's your sweet Jesus here! How about a hymn or two in my Praise, capite!? No unsaved or joos please.
