Novatian from El Sydney -
03-01-2013, 12:13 PM
Hi, I am new man here, from Sydney Australia. Novatian is a character I read about in a Novel called Catch the Fire.
I was looking up IQ facts and found a thread here I wanted to post in.
And I want to perform some good idealist deeds and I am looking for friends.

What is the most poignant verse in the KJV and has has it molded your every day life?
How many living sons have you birthed for Jesus?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

KJV, Romans 5:5
There is salvation and repentance and there is growth and revival.
I am humble, I have approached people to ask them to acknowledge their sins and turn to Jesus, and have been shy as well, too much.
I have been more involved in the more Holy Spirit and more love side of faith. In there, still humble, in prayer, I saw a lady receive love, and saw another lady touched by God to be led by the Spirit through God's word.
I have explained and defended the faith amidst neo-pagans and muslims. And invited atheists to thought in a science forum. I have made mistakes. I have made points.
My hope is my mum and brothers will receive Christ. And my cousins. And Patrimony. I am looking at Bible College options and mission fields, but had a rough upbringing and need freedom myself first.
I think I was a benefit to my late Nanna's salvation.

Friend, was my question too difficult, would smaller words of helped?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Hello Friend,
Your words appear to be American, but in context they read as gibberish. Is this Australian-speak? Or are you drunk on Fosters....Either way, perhaps you can answer Brother Hutchins questions better when you sober up.
YIC
2 Samuel 11:13 And when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Not sure which (per)version you're using, but it's not the Authorized KJV Bible.

Oh, are you another one of those hippie "God loves everyone" people?

Why aren't you letting the Holy Spirit work through you? That way you don't make any mistakes.
Luke 12:11-12 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Well that's nice, although I really need to know what "bible" you aussies are reading from, because it's way off.
Anyway, what church do you attend?
How did you come to find Jesus?
Those were the two main questions you missed in your introduction.

Romans 5:5-6
Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Rom 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
I believe God loves the ungodly.
What does this site advocate. I arrived here looking to help with the issue of religion and IQ. The forum looked good for service.
These verses appeal to me to form my practice as a Christian, love is the main thing, to receive love is a grace and salvation is by faith and grace. Love, I want this to change my heart.
I was ungodly as a teen, raised badly. I turned to Jesus thinking I was going to die from medication side effects. I repented. My dad was praying for me in the Pentecostal sphere and his pastor maybe too.
My Catholic family also prayed for me.
I got lost in Catholicism after repenting, and standing with a clear conscience for some weeks. After ten years and many preaching in which I learned I needed to be born again, and as a man who had trouble opening his heart, with further prayer I was born again. Received the Holy Spirit.
My attempts to convert people didn't work. I have never seen someone become converted because of me.
I was taught The Way of the Master 101 evangelism method. But I am rewriting it for myself and some others.

Why, to know and serve the LORD, of course.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.
