No. It's human nature to prove before disproving. I may be the 'cliched' atheist that you forum users hate and want to burn as heretics, but the truth is you can't justify the racism, homophobia, and scientific ignorance inherent in this forum. THAT is why I want proof.

Well considering you haven't proven God to me as of yet, I'll believe the 'monkey worshipping scientists' who have proven the evolution of life through various and varied sources, tests and experiments - all of which don't rely on 1 thousands of years old book. All you have to argue against me is the Bible. One ancient book, which seems to be the only source you have to prove anything. I want to believe you, but that last post just sums up how desperate you are, saying the Bible can justify anything, including the racism and homophobia that you blindly and naively post on this forum.

Maybe because your proof ISN'T reasonable. As another member of your Church pointed out in another thread. 'Historical sources prove Jesus' existence, therefore logically God exists'. This implies that because historical sources prove Alexander the Great existed, Heracles and Zeus (his "descendants") must also logically exist. Does that sound like REASONABLE proof to you? I'm not an unreasonable person, just a cynical Uni history student. Once I see some 'reasonable proof' I will concede defeat. And I want to be defeated. I really do!

There is your problem. You want to meet God in your own comfort zone. No! God is greater than the Universe and exists outside space and time yet He is man's best friend and with us at all times. God is not reasonable. Logically the proof for God is going to a contradictory mess.

Now let's look at The Bible and what do we see? A vast rambling document that contradicts itself at random and talks about bizarre things that make no sense, JUST LIKE GOD! Reasonably The Bible is the proof of God because The Bible is so unreasonable.

Hi there, I'm new to this an just want a quick understanding...If God is all powerful and wants people to believe in him, why not just give the whole world a sign? And how come he commits genocide to the one he loves yet won't destroy the Devil? Just a few points from your perspective. Thank You.

We do not call God evil because if we did, He would send us to hell to be tortured for all eternity. I really could care less if you feel "put off". God gets to do whatever He wants because He is more powerful than us, and you get to shut up and worship Him!
