Romanist fish head: “I don’t think we did anything wrong.” -
02-08-2012, 01:27 PM
The only cardinals that you can trust are those little birds. A retired archbishop has withdrawn his apology for the kiddy-diddling scandal.
From the JYT:
Quote:
Cardinal Egan Criticized for Retracting Apology on Sexual Abuse Crisis
In 2002, at the height of the outcry over the sexual abuse of minors by Roman Catholic priests, the Archbishop of New York, Edward M. Egan, issued a letter to be read at Mass. In it, he offered an apology about the church’s handling of sex-abuse cases in New York and in Bridgeport, Conn., where he was previously posted.
“It is clear that today we have a much better understanding of this problem,” he wrote. “If in hindsight we also discover that mistakes may have been made as regards prompt removal of priests and assistance to victims, I am deeply sorry.”
Now, 10 years later and in retirement, Cardinal Egan has taken back his apology.
In an interview in the February issue of Connecticut magazine, a surprisingly frank Cardinal Egan said of the apology, “I never should have said that,” and added, “I don’t think we did anything wrong.”
|
Now here's the best part. Not even a JYT reporter can repeat the Roman institution's lies with a straight face.
Quote:
He said many more things in the interview, some of them seemingly at odds with the facts. He repeatedly denied that any sex abuse had occurred on his watch in Bridgeport. He said that even now, the church in Connecticut had no obligation to report sexual abuse accusations to the authorities. (A law on the books since the 1970s says otherwise.) And he described the Bridgeport diocese’s handling of sex-abuse cases as “incredibly good.”

Give him another year, and he won't even remember any wrongdoing at all.
He probably thinks that dementia praecox means "turning into an altar boy again".
Let us be glad that roman catholics don't win any primaries these days.
Psalm 81:10:
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Just goes to show that sinners can convince themselves of anything if they try hard enough
The only thing I'm convinced of is the
Catlick pedo priests get away with it because they confess their sins to their boy buggering buddies rather than God
They all need to rot it Hell.

Brother, I have some bad news from last night.
Quote:
A mackerel-snapping turnaround for the Mary-worshiping former senator from Pennsylvania [Rick Sanatorium], who had peaked in Iowa five weeks ago and promptly disappeared. Lacking money and organization, he finished out of the money in New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida and Nevada.
Now he roars back and wins big in Missouri and Minnesota, two middle-sized states that might claim to speak for the mainstream of the Midwest. Even more impressive is his narrower win in Colorado, a Western state Mitt Romney had won in 2008.

Catholics are so predictable. So long as they can rationalize their behavior with their consciences, as warped as they are, they honestly think God is okay with what they do.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Here's something I've consistently noticed about false Christians of all kinds: The commandments of their make-believe god always match whatever they wanted to believe anyway. Praise God (the real one) for this church, where we don't do that.

It is absolutely disgusting how false religions think that they have divine permission to do whatever they want without regard to laws, human decency, or common sense.

You don't rise to the rank of Cardinal without supping with your paymaster Satan. I looked at the first apology:
“If in hindsight we also discover that mistakes may have been made as regards prompt removal of priests and assistance to victims, I am deeply sorry.”
To be an apology, the conditions of (i) hindsight and (ii) discovering mistakes have to be fulfilled - and the mistakes have to be (a) with regards to the removal of Satan's pawns and (b) assistance to the victims."
NB Nothing to do with buggery of minors.
Only after all this there, might, just might be an apology!
This abomination, 10 years later, then says of the "conditional apology", “I never should have said that,” and added, “I don’t think we did anything wrong.”
So, his thorough investigation showed nothing happened and so, no apology was ever given in the first place.
Rev:20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

He's being partially honest anyway: I bet he probably truly feels nothing WAS done wrong. Child rape is such a part of the catlick doctrine that he most likely thinks it's normal.
Sick, sick, SICK.
