I can most certainly assure you that I am not a lesbian. I had much longer hair and when I went in for a trim, I came out looking like this. Needless to say I was furious, but, as most know, hair grows and I will never visit that establishment again. No, I don't need a bible, I have my own and there are several in my home, but at the same time, one more couldn't hurt. I never claimed to be perfect, I simply said working towards it. I have 1 son and 1 daughter, they are well mannered as my husband and I don't tolerate much.

-You have 2 kids. Please let us know how do you find your Bible useful to educate them?


-How are you sure that your kids will not mingle with the Unsaved?

We wholeheartedly believe in the saying "you are who you hangout with" it is difficult to find like minded people when it seems the whole world is on a fast track to hell.

I agree with the building of the wall. I think it's the only way to keep America strong. Enough people have crossed the border and mooched off of America's resources for FREE! We have our own homeless and hungry, yet illegal aliens get all the help. I think it's a crock. While I wouldn't open my home to just anyone, I don't mind helping less fortunate people, God gave me what I have for a reason, but as long as they stay where they belong, and I can dictate what I help them with, other than that it's stealing. You love those like minded individuals, the people who you wouldn't be afraid or ashamed to be seen associating with.

I use the Bible to build a foundation for my kids to learn and live from. I believe that teaching children the Word of God is the only way of preparing them to make the most important decision of their lives, which is where they will spend eternity. I also use it to show them what is expected of them to be God fearing Christians.

What I teach my children is founded upon respect, not just respect for their parents, but respect for themselves. At the moment my daughter is to young to understand this, but I teach my son everyday that mingling with the unsaved is not acceptable and that he wouldn't want to risk a lifetime of damnation for even a moment of sinful pleasure. If he has to spend time with an unsaved individual to spend his time wisely by preaching God's word.

While I like what I read, I would like to see more "rod" in your education. Is it something you forgot to say or are you a liberal parent who don't care about their children going to Hell?

There is nothing I forgot to say within the answers of the questions you asked. You simply did not ask the right questions for the answers you seek to hear. As I said in an earlier post, my husband and I don't tolerate much, so obviously I discipline my children. I spank my children when I see fit. I was spanked as a child for my indiscretions, as they are for theirs. As my son gets older the spankings are less and less because he is learning what it is to be a good Christian. But as a child still, I do chastise him.

When I ask about the Bible, I don't expect general mentions. I expect verses quoted. And it is not just me, it is the whole forum. So, I was wondering which Bible verses are the most useful for your kid's education. Whenever I see "rod" in a parents speech, I know that parent is a True Christian.


Nevertheless, good to know that you beat up your children. You are in the right path, the narrow one.

I use a variety of scriptures from the Bible, too many to quote here and now. Some of the more prominent ones are:

2 Timothy 3:1-5 "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people."

Hebews 12:7-11 "7 It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8 If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. 9 Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. 11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it."

For me as a mother it doesn't delight me to have to discipline my children, but these help:

Hello and welcome to our friendly forums! I'm so glad to hear you raise your children with a firm hand and solid, Christian foundation. Am I correct in assuming you educate them at home? In Texas a student does not require history or science to graduate from home with the blessings of the state. This offers the parent extra time to teach citizenship (which is a requirement). We all know good citizenship requires personal knowledge and acceptance of Christ, so that's Good News for the people of Texas!

Hi! My son does get homeschooled but not by me. My sister in law homeschools the older children in her home while I take care of the younger children in mine. She was a school teacher before she quit teaching at the local level. Nice to meet you!

The time you spend searching for a "good" (How is that possible I know not) church could be spent in extremely more productive and helpful to you, and your kids, things. I would advise you to look some things that everyone who lives in 2017 should be aware of but I know that it will be pointless. By "good" I mean a church that fits the beliefs of my family. There are plenty of false churches out there and I don't want any part of them. Please explain to me how much more extremely productive my time could be? I am a wife, and a mother. I make sure my home is clean, my children and husband are fed, and my family is loved. While my son is doing his daily lessons I spend time with my toddler daughter. We sing, and I read to her. She colors, and plays like a normal toddler. She joins me outside while I tend to our garden. On weekends my family and I visit other family, and we spend TIME TOGETHER. What would you rather have me and my family do? And honestly why does what I do with my family bother you?

I am glad to see a person who does not care what people think but instead, only what God has told us. Independent thought can be very risky, when you consider that your eternal soul is at risk. I feel so terribly for you, what a sad and pathetically miserable life you must have, especially to go out of your way to not only visit a church site, but to go as far as registering just to be a bully. Your previous statement has come to mind, isn't there anything better you could be doing instead of trolling on sites spreading your ugliness. You know what? Be annoyed, be very annoyed that me and my children are happy rejoicing in the Lord, loving him and believing him. We are happy. You, and your miserable existence aren't. I implore you though, pick up a bible, read it, speak earnestly to God, you will hear him, in your heart.
