Oh friends! Glorious Day!
Starting today, PopularScience.com will no longer accept comments on new articles. Here's why.
Siting some
opinions written in the New York Times,
- Uncivil comments not only polarized readers, but they often changed a participant's interpretation of the news story itself.
- In the civil group, those who initially did or did not support the technology — whom we identified with preliminary survey questions — continued to feel the same way after reading the comments. Those exposed to rude comments, however, ended up with a much more polarized understanding of the risks connected with the technology.
- Simply including an ad hominem attack in a reader comment was enough to make study participants think the downside of the reported technology was greater than they'd previously thought.
Siting
another opinion piece in the same New York Times:
- IN 1982, polls showed that 44 percent of Americans believed God had created human beings in their present form. Thirty years later, the fraction of the population who are creationists is 46 percent.
PRAISE JESUS ALL GLORY TO GOD!
In this day of information, the Word of God is overshadowing the gospel of science! More and more people are distrusting these scientists and looking to the LORD for the Truth! And this has the Darwinists running scared! They can't handle people knowing what they're up to, so they have to hide it! HA! Just like those Roman Papists who wouldn't let people read the Holy Bible and had it printed only in Latin so the average American couldn't read it. But the LORD's Will Be Done! And His People Will Know The Truth!

Tying Him Up, Slitting His Throat, And Burning His Body
