URGENT BIBLE STUDY EMERGENCY!!! -
08-25-2019, 09:26 PM
Hello, fellow True Christians™. Please listen carefully, because this concerns us all. I was reading my Bible to relax after church today and I came across something in the Holy Scripture that was highly disturbing and frightening, moreso than usual. I know that we are all well aware of James 2:10 - "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." Now that's pretty straightforward. If you commit one sin, such as speaking out against the wealthy (Ecclesiastes 10:20), as far as God is concerned, you've already committed every single other sin, including murder (Exodus 20:13), sodomy (Leviticus 20:13), and witchcraft (Exodus 22:18). If you repent and tithe, Jesus will forgive you (1 John 1:9, Hebrews 8:12).
You all know this. This is basic Sunday School Damnation 101. The mechanics of sin, damnation, and salvation are well known to LBC. You sin, you repent, you are forgiven, you get into Heaven...
Or do you? If you commit a sin, you are "guilty of all." That's scary, but God in His mercy is willing to forgive such abominable sins as whispering (Proverbs 16:28), getting a tattoo (Leviticus 19:28), or committing treason (2 Timothy 3:4) and wipe the slate clean. But all means "all." And in the comprehensive list of sins, that includes blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12:32), which God explicitly says "shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come." The one unforgivable sin. And, shockingly, this one is bundled in with all the rest if you commit any sin at all. Thus, according to the Bible, if you commit any sin, you are damned. Period. If you make a long prayer (Matthew 23:14), you have also committed murder, had gay sex, committed treason (all of which is forgivable) and blasphemed against the Holy Spirit (which gets you a one way ticket to HELL!!!!)
Can this be? Is EVERY sin unforgivable? This seems to be what the Bible is telling me, and I'm on the verge of a panic attack. Desperately in need of some explanation from a pastor.
Fearing God more than ever and possibly Hellbound,
Dennis Lukes

Brother Dennis, do not fear.Read carefully: For whosoever shall keep the law. This is directed not to everyone, but for the ones supposed to keep all the law: us, the True Christians. So this verse is just telling us that with our great reward (Heaven, being the chosen ones) comes great responsibility (NOT sinning, being perfect to the eyes of God) And yes, we are perfect.
Sinners will be sinning, it is expected, and they can be forgiven. Once they become TC, well, they are expected not to sin again.
I hope this clarifies the whole situation. You can go back to your usual duties.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

Yes, Mr. Lukes. I am Harsha Shah and I am answering you, yes. I am hoping that I am not offending you but I was writing about the same thing some years ago and I am still waiting for an educated and rational response to my inquiries, yes. I am thinking that I might be offending you with the link but I am referring to an earlier text that is here. Yes, it is. https://www.landoverbaptist.net/showthread.php?t=106772
I was writing that James Chapter 2 verse 10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." I am thinking: if anyone has committed any sin she has committed them all. All sins include this blasphemy against the holy spirit. This means that if you have committed any sin you have also committed blasphemy against the spirit. This would mean that nobody is getting into the christian heaven? Yes? I am using the italics, yes, to show the citation, yes. I am very happy that some of you christians are agreeing with me that the christian faith is not necessarily leading you to your heaven, yes.
I am thinking that this is very bad karma and that we might be fighting the accumulationof bad thoughts together, yes? It is like the story of the blind men and the elephant, yes? Are you being familiar with it, Mr. Lukes? I am hoping that I am not offending you but it tells about the blind men who are meeting an elephant and one is thinking that it is just a hose (the trunk) and others are thinking that it is a column (the feet). Yes, I am thinking that if we could be making a synthesis of your faith and the oriental philosophies, we could be avoiding the bad karma in a better way. Yes. I am hoping that you will be joining me in this, Mr. Lukes. Yes.
"Ecclesiastes 3:7
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak."Yes. Women are saving lives. It is time we are speaking! Yes!

Well clutch the pearls and call me LaKeisha. Harsha, I do believe all that curry has gone to your centrabellum. You can’t use that fake elephant story to rationalize away the Holy Word of God.
And before you say it, no, you are not piffling offending me.
Here is our darling Dennis, being harassed by the devil (yes, the devil is real or the Bible wouldn’t speak of him) to doubt that the Holy Issue of Christ’s Blood is insufficient to make us worthy of Glory and you go on about some stupid elephant and a bunch of idiots who choose to be blind instead of coming to Jesus for forgiveness and healing. (You’re still not offending me).
It isn’t your place as a woman to claim you know more than a man. My brother just had a temporary lapse because he knows that Jesus will one day soon lead him to his Heavenly mansion and there you’ll be, working in some curry factory in Hell as Dennis looks out the window and laughs.
I pray you find Jesus. Stop with all the doubting and needing explanations for what the Bible says. It says what it means and means what it says. No contradictions, no ambiguity. Just truth from the Holy Lips of the Creator.
Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”
Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man. Amen and Amen

That would be a strange outcome indeed!
Although I understand that such a misunderstanding can stop a man in his tracks, you need to read further,
1Jo:3:8: He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jo:3:9: Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
Brother Denis, you are "born of God" I remember your baptism. (Who could forget the volts from the paddles of the resuscitation machine jerking your soul back to this world after total immersion?) You cannot sin.
The Bible is for The Saved, and the only "Saved" in the World are we of Landover, baptized and whole and perfect.
These threats and entreaties are for others, they are not for True Christians™.
If we accept Jesus then we are Saved and what do we say every day? Yes, that's right "Once Saved, Always Saved."
You may now feel as did the eunuch in Acts:8:39

No, I will not be doing that, no. No, no no. No, that would be heresy most foul, no (Deuteronomy 4:2). You're welcome to do so, because as I seem to recall, you directly blasphemed the Holy Spirit, sidestepping the question of whether indirectly doing so is also unforgivable, and are thus damned to Hell. In the famous words of the Indian King Mahatma Ghandi, "Thank you, come again."

Indeed, a temporary lapse. After all, I'm not an almost-doctor of divinity like you, Brother Larry. I'm a humble motel proprietor, not a theologian.
And I imagine that Jesus will assign Miss Shah to Hell's cattle slaughterhouse, where she will be forced to kill her "sacred" cows and eat their flesh for all eternity, while a demon with a British accent lords it over them.
