As (former) Pope Benedict
prepares to leave this mortal coil, the halls of Heaven are surely being decked out in a manner likely not seen since Sister Theresa made her way to the Holy Gates to take
her rightful seat at the side of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
What an incredible scene it would be to witness as the countless people he has touched during his ministry gather with Jesus and all of the Saints to welcome his (former) Holiness to his eternal reward for a lifetime of impeccable and blessed service to God.
A big question going around the Vatican as of late is weather or not Jesus wants Monsignor Georg Ratzinger, Benedict's older brother, to enter Heaven ahead of his younger sibling to help with his welcome or will Jesus raise him to Heaven after Benedict's arrival so as to keep focus on the previous Pope for his welcoming. There are some in the know who believe God wants them to arrive together for an even bigger moment of glory, a glory so grand only God can bestow it.
Only He knows for sure when Benedict and Georg will get their final marching orders, but certainly it is safe to say that when that day comes there will be an outbreak of joy across His Church as the trumpets of salvation sound the arrival of two of Gods greatest and most humble servants.
Praise Him!
Bless you, my flu-catching fabulists,
Father Mo
