Hi everyone :) -

Hi, my name is Sarah. I'm 18, and I live with my mother and my 7 brothers and 2 sisters and also attend college for nursing. I love God with all my heart, but I was not raised as a baptist and would enjoy learning more about your beliefs. Upon reading the "Before You Post" threads, I realized that all of the views that you have stated in the post correspond to the ideals I was raised. It is good to see so many faithful believers of God!
I was raised as a Seventh Day Adventist, and many of the people of our church were more liberal, but my grandfather always made me read from the King James version of the Bible and follow all the teachings of Jesus. My favorite Bible verse is Luke 6:31, "And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise". It is one that my grandfather always quoted to me as a child, and it just stuck.

Hello Sarah. Nice to see you here.
Nursing is good. And it is also nice to hear that you love GOD.
Your grandfather sounds like a reasonable man. Is he still alive? Did he tell you to come here, or was it your father?

Hello Sarahlyn, and welcome to our forums!
I'm a bit confused. At your age, you should be raising and homeschooling a half dozen children by now. Why are you taking the time to find employment rather than praying and preparing for a husband?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Hello, it's nice to meet you as well. Yes, my grandfather is still alive and going to church twice a week, God bless him. Even at 85 years old he still has rarely missed a sermon. I was given permission by my father come here and worship the Lord.

Oops, we must have posted at the same time Mary. I have yet to find a good Christian husband, but soon I hope to have many sons to be soldiers for God. The nursing is more of a family tradition. Everyone in my family has gone into the practice, so I am required to do so as well. My mother started having her children in college with the help of her parents for funds and I plan to do the same.

Hello, Sarahlyn. It is a pleasure to have you here.
I know women lack the intelligence of men, but I would have thought nursing would be instinctual. You put the little babe up to the breast and he does the rest. I honestly had no idea you needed to take a special college course to figure it out. Still though, it shows that you are committed to child rearing, so I applaud your efforts.

Welcome Sarahlyn! I see you live in Virginia. I live in the wonderful Capital of the Confederacy, Richmond, Virginia! (The South shall rise again!)
Why are you even bothering with furthering your education to become a nurse? Dear girl, have your parents and grandfather not stressed that Jesus will be coming back soon? No need to further your education and get a career because there will not be any time! We are living in the end times, my dear friend! Praise the wonderful name of Jesus!
Also, how many nigra slaves do your parents own?

Re: Hi everyone :) -

Pastor Ezekiel, thank you for the warm welcome. One of the reasons I have left the horrible cult of Seventh Day Adventism is due to the fact that my church openly stated that they were supportive of pro choice. That is disgusting and foul in my opinion and should not be tolerated. They will see when they are damned to hell for supporting the killing of unborn children. I have seen the error of my ways and the sin that I committed by following such a faith. I like to practice the
Bible as it was written, and have committed to a life of vegetarianism as well.
Brother Des, I completely agree with you, though part of the training is also to care for the elderly and those with medical ailments. I plan to embrace the QuiverFull lifestyle and want to give my future sons a bright future with the best education about Jesus and God. Of course, I will keep them out of those horrid public schools that are festering with the unsaved.
Sister Bethany, it is nice to meet a nice Christian woman living a southern lifestyle in Virginia. I live in the northern part, and there are far too many liberals here. You wouldn't believe some of their values!! My family does not allow me to associate with any of the foul nigras. They find them rather atrocious, as they do not know how to speak English properly and are cursed by Satan. Years ago my family had some working for them on their large farm and they stole from us and tried to force their pop culture upon the children. The Blacks ruin our youth.
Thank you for the welcome, Faith I always like to research a church before speaking to people of that following. So many people come on here uninformed about The Lord and what is right. So many unbelievers.

I would say that it has to be my home-made apple pie. In the summer, apples picked ripe from our apple tree make for a very good dessert.
Also, thank you for the welcome, Sister Esther. It is a pleasure to meet you.

Sarah, a warm welcome! It's lovely to meet another young lady for the Lord. I am sure you can find a husband soon; I am only 17 and a half, but I have a husband and soon, a child. One thing concerns me is that you are committed to a life of vegetarianism. In the Bible, God clearly defines meat as good. There are countless verses. Here are a couple seen below:
Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. Genesis 9:3
But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. 1 Corinthians 8:8
Other than that, you seem like a lovely Southern lady! I'm praying for you to find a husband soon!
Yours in Christ,
Elizabeth

Welcome to our friendly forum!
When did you first feel Christ inside you? For me it was a very exhausting day.
I won't go into the peculiars but I would be very interested to fellowship with a young lady who has Only Jesus in her brain.
YIC
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Thank you for the welcome, Sister Elizabeth. I just worry about the uncleanliness of the meat industry today. There are all sorts of diseases upon the animals from all the dirty immigrant workers and on the fruits and vegetables as well. That is why it is so important to buy only things grown in the USA. Back when my family raised cattle and chickens, I had much more meat. I agree though, that it is very important and that meat is something God expects us to all eat.
Dr. Niles, I realized that I was sinning by following the religion I was raised in a year ago when they started adopting liberal perspectives in their service. They began to wear expensive jewelry, which is evil and satanic. Also, they used rock music in their sermon. I don't understand how they could stray so far from Christian ideals. Also, condoning the murder of unborn children??! I was fed up, being raised in a more reasonable home than this. They even let colored people in our church. Everyone knows that they only belong in the fields, picking cotton.
This was not what sparked my true love for Jesus; it was only the fuel to get me started with exploring what the truth is. I prayed for many days and read the Bible. I realized that all the interpretations of it were wrong and that the interpretation of the Bible was very simple: Read what is written and obey. Ever since then, I have followed the teachings of Jesus Christ and have attempted to follow what is written to the best of my abilities.

If I may be of some assistance dear (Titus 2:2-4), I think you would do well to worry about your own Salvation, and lack thereof. While you're wasting your time studying for written and practical exams, your womb is expelling potential Soldiers for Christ at a rate of 1-3 each 28 days. Assuming the LORD provided you with the necessities to start providing a husband a quiver full of children (Psalm 127:3-5), you have denied the LORD as many as 8-24 Souls in His Army (assuming menstruation began at age 12). Not only have you thus far ignored His desire for your life, but you have kept yourself in a state of vulnerability, the solution for which is faith and childbearing (1 Timothy 2:15). I recognize your father is culpable in this regard, having snubbed the Good Lord by refusing to find a capable husband to take on the responsibilities of starting and providing for a family, in addition to training a bride to be a suitable help meet (Genesis 2:18). But now that culpability falls on you. You know better now. You would do well to heed to the Will of God and pray for a husband and for the LORD to not punish you with a barren womb.

Sister Mary, I have been praying vigorously for a good Christian husband for quite a while, but there has been to no result yet. I know what I must do, and I know that it is very important for me to bare many sons. I suppose I should pray more though than I have. Perhaps, I should lock myself away for several days and pray constantly that God bless me by sending me husband? What spiritual suggestions would you have for me? I am dedicated to rearing children, soldiers to God. I will just hope that my prayers are answered soon. I am open to any and all advice that you could give me, other than continuing to pray for a husband, which I will do of course.

Well, if it were me, barren and lonely, I would get on my knees and pledge my devotion to my Redeemer by sincerely promising that I would not get up from my knees until I had read His Holy Word as many times as it takes for Real Faith to sink in, for then I would know my prayers would be heard (Proverbs 15:29; John 9:31). I would praise Him for His response, even before I know what it is. I would not get up to eat, drink, talk to others, sleep, or even attend to nature. The way I think about it, He suffered for a long weekend and temporarily DIED. The least I could do would be to die on my knees in praise and worship.
I hope that helps.

Thank you for your insight on this trial that I am experiencing in my life. You are right that I have waited far too long to find a suitable husband, and I should be ashamed. My years of cooking and cleaning for hours are going to waste right now, and my womb is empty with no child in it. I will pray to The Lord until I have found the answer to this problem and ask my father to help me find a suitable husband for me now. Hopefully, soon with the guidance of God, I will be able to begin my journey into parenthood.
