Pray for my friend please -
02-27-2008, 05:14 AM
One of my close friend lost his job due to the closing of the place.
He has a family, a wife and 2 beautiful kids. He lost his job 3 weeks ago and soon he won't have money to bring food on the table to feed his sweet family.
Could anyone please pray for him so he can get a new job? he is a good christian man and don't deserve this. I help them the best i can with food, love and prayer but i can't give him a job. Maybe with your help, god will listen to us and won't make his family suffer.
Thank you all in advance.

I shall pray for your friend because I am a Christian and because you did not come onto this Godly forum to flame us and lie to us about your pagan greek first name.
Perhaps there is some slim hope for you yet.
Mark 16:17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My Name they will drive out demons.
1 Kings 21:14 Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, Naboth is stoned . . .
A SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER:
Father, In Jesus' Name, I take the Blood of Jesus and break the power of all witches, warlocks, wizards, satanists, sorcerers, wiccans, pagans, and any other source, and all of their rituals off of us. With the Blood of Jesus, I erase all evil lines drawn on our liver. . .

Is your "friend" a Member of Landover Baptist Church?
When he was working did he tithe to his church as Commanded by God?
We're not a Welfare Club you know!
We Pray for those most deserving and have promised themselves to Jesus.
Praying takes time, Time is Money and Money means Tithes made to Landover Baptist Church and Jesus.
Has he sold his house yet?
If not, I suggest he does so immediately.
Then he can make a large Loving Donation to his favorite Baptist Church.
His generosity will be rewarded in Heaven by Jesus Himself.
Has he thought of selling his Children?
We at Landover Baptist Church Buy Children.
They'll receive first class training at our Christian Soldier Training facility in North Dakota.
This is a limited offer just until Jesus comes back.
PRAISE!!

Godly advice, sister.
But if the guy was really a Christian, then none of this would have happened to him. I'll bet he's a Liberal to boot.
I've never heard of a True Christian with money troubles in my life.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Well, a week would be enough for anyone. Looks like you will spend eternity.

Dear HermAphrodite -
I realize you've been banned, but hope you can see this anyway.
Your friend's story touched me. I think we should all pray that your friend finally gets himself truly Saved©, instead of attending a false Christian "church" where John 3:16 is the only verse of interest.
Also, I pray that your friend has the common sense to send his wife out to get some temporary work (or maybe take in washing and sewing), and gets the kids paper routes or in the business of sidewalk-shoveling, that they may help out while he seeks an appropriate position suited to his skills. I do understand that janitorial positions are hard to come by these days, but he could also look for work as a dishwasher or hog waste lagoon maintenance crew member.
I assume that your friend's church does not require pre-marital counseling like Landover does. Our pastors go through the finances of couples before they marry, and ensure that they have sufficient cash in savings to supporth themselves and a full quiver of 9 children through at least 6 months of unemployment, that they not become a burden on the Church.
Those funds are held in escrow by Landover Baptist Church, of course. Landover collects all interest earned on the funds as a management fee. This is just one of many services Landover provides to its members, that they may grow strong in the Lord and not be worried about their financial futures.
Perhaps once your friend gets his act together, gets Saved©, and stops sinning, he can join a proper Baptist church which will handle his finances like Landover. Or, of course, he could move to Freehold.

How will Jesus ever understand your prayer?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Dear Friend,
Who cares if your friend is a "good christian man"? God will do whatever he likes.
"For he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." Matthew 5:45.
God may just be testing your friend to win a bet with Satan (like with Job). How are his cattle and wives? Any emelrods?
Yours in His Love of A Friendly Wager,
bab
