Trump: Florida school officer 'didn't have the courage' -

An armed officer who stood outside a Florida school where a gunman killed 17 people last week "certainly did a poor job", US President Donald Trump says. Deputy Scot Peterson resigned after an investigation found he failed to confront the suspect. Mr Trump said Mr Peterson might be a "coward" who "didn't react properly under pressure".

This is precisely why we need teachers to confront gunmen. If your armed guard declines to approach someone firing a machine gun at them then it's time for the chemistry teacher to step up. It's only a shame Donald himself couldn't be there to take a bullet, but - as you know - his bone spurs preclude him from engaging in activities that may protect the American people.
As you recall in Reno during one of Trump's speeches when someone in the crowd didn't have a gun, Trump rushed off the stage - presumably for the very manly reason to get more guns and take the suspect down in man-to-man combat. That's how to handle yourself under pressure, folks.

From what I have been given to understand the "armed" guard was "underarmed" with a mere service pistol. Compare that with the AK 47 or whatever sort of assault weapon the shooter had to hand.
That's the problem in these situations. The shooters have us out-gunned. We have to have more weapons and they need to be bigger and faster and more lethal. Then we will be the shooters and the criminals will be the shot at.

The answer is written in the Lord's word, as is the answer to anything important.
Ephesians 6:10-18 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
If schools were to hire True Christians™ as guards, the problem would be solved. God himself would be protecting the children.

The school guard could take lessons from President Trump. Trump left the stage in full view of whatever guns might have been there. He wisely took command of the situation and called in reinforcements. The school guard should have left the scene and called in for help. Why can't we hire good people these days?
I think we will see better school guards with Trump as President.

It's infuriating to see these god-hating atheists abusing their 2nd Amendment rights on the innocent people of America.

That dangerous experience Trump had when he was forced off the stage due to a threat was made all the worse by his long standing bone spur. He was ready to take on danger but was held back by this physical challenge.
I've not heard the Florida school guard had any bone spur illness. He probably passed a physical for his security license and should have been battle ready. President Trump was right to call him out as a coward.

I'd like to see this guy get tested for bone spurs. If it turns out he was incapable of combat then this could be the impetus for Congress to pass a new Trump Rule requiring testing of all security personnel (including teachers, pastors, cinema ushers, etc.) for bone spurs. Obviously at their own expense at a private clinic. I'm sure the NRA would completely support a new Trump Rule for saluting combat warriors.
