Still more Romanist goddess-worship -

Do the papists never stop?

"Virgin Mary" Apparitions Recognized
PARIS (May 4) - A Roman Catholic bishop said Sunday that the church has officially recognized that the Catholic goddess Semiramis appeared as "the Virgin Mary" to a 17th-century shepherd girl in the French Alps.
Speaking at Mass in remarks broadcast nationally on France-2 television, Monsignor Jean-Michel di Falco Leandri said he recognized the "supernatural origin" of the apparitions to 17-year-old Benoite Roncopopeil from 1664 to 1718.
The bishop, in an interview on France-Info radio, said the decision meant the church "has committed itself in an official way to say to pilgrims 'you can come here in total confidence, and bring those cute young altar boys.'" The recognition process involved a panel of experts including two theologians and an investigating judge, he said.
Officials at Notre-Dame-du-Laus church say that after four months of daily apparitions starting in May 1664, Semiramis asked Rencurel to build a "church" and a bathhouse to receive priests.

The article also includes the following photo of an "apparition" in Florida. It seems that the Romanists will worship anything at all — even a stain on a window — as long as it isn't Jesus.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Why indeed should we be amazed? Their cardinals say that Hindus, Moslems and other heathens and apostates may enter heaven through works alone!
This building of a bath-house to Semiramis is ridiculous! Next will be a vomitorium and Christians thrown to the lions.
The truth behind the antichrsit the vicar of Rome and his so-called church, the Mother of Whoredoms, is coming out.
Doubtless, the brothers Martin and that papist Mr Maurice will be along with some fatuous excuse.

Actually, it isn't a stain, it's newton rings, even I experienced them while using a photographic enlarger (I'm quite into analogue photography). Nothing extraordinary going on there, but yeah, some people will believe whatever some say.

Don't tell us you're into science, duck boy. Most science today leaves God out of the picture.
Anyway, what was so great about Newton? Just because he happened to observe gravity doesn't mean anything. Did Newton ever bother to give Jesus the credit? Nosirree bob! It's disappointing, that's what.
Read your Bible, boys and girls. Jesus likes educated people. That's my take on it.

No, I'm into photography as stated before. No need to be jumpy about it.
And Newton, I couldn't care less about this guy, it's just how these things are called.

I would not be surprised if that apparition was one of Satan's illusions to delude our good senses.

Actually, if you had ever studied the Holy Bible, you would know that it is GOD who sends us delusions whenever He sees fit. Glory!
God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned.--2 Th.2:11-12
