Christian Homeschool Ideas... -
12-15-2010, 11:52 PM
I'm looking for new topics for my Christian Home School Program. I really did enjoy the post on 3 Experiments You Can Do At Home that PROVE THE EARTH IS FLAT! I would like more ideas like that. What can kind of stuff can I do with my kids to help them live a more Christian way of live, and experiments to keep them believing! Thanks!

How old are your children?
I've done things such as hatch eggs with an incubator, we ordered some butterfly eggs and watched the Godly transformation from egg, to caterpillar to pupae to butterfly. If you want to be really scientific, order extras so that you can dissect some along the way. I breed dogs so they have seen the miracle of life from beginning to end. Along the way we discuss how secular science cannot explain these things and how God created such a wonderful world that just fits.
Considering the stupidity that is coming out of public schools lately, I am also debating about whether or not to teach them Chinese so that they will be able to work in higher positions if we're not raptured before the Chinks take over the USA.
We're also on the road quite a bit during the dog trial season, so we try and stop by places like the Creation Museum

The Butterfly experiment sounds quite beautiful, well maybe except the dissection part...
Also please refrain from racist statements, this forum has a no tolerance policy on racism.

My kids vary in age... Peter 11, Michael 9, John 7, Paul 5, Abagail 3, Abraham who just turned 1.
I know what you mean! The minorities now are us. The Indians and Chinese are taking over. Pretty soon the white person will be rare.

Plus the Creation museum looks cool. We are too far from there, and we can't order dvds because we don't own a television. But Maybe we can order the books.

There are so many ways that brain washing happens today!
-People are brainwashed into believing that homo***uality is just another way of living, a lifestyle.
-Americans were brainwashed into electing Obama.
Brainwashing happens everyday in this country, and to prevent it, I'm homeschooling my children. I would like to teach my children right.

Have you got boys or girls?
If you have girls then they need to taught how to cook, clean and care for babies and that's basically all they need .

I have had the pleasure of tasting young girls pie on many occasions. The lack of experience is more than compensated by the joy of being the first to taste a young girl's fresh pie. I am glad to see you are raising your daughter to become a God fearing Christian. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. (Psalm 111:10)

How to Study the Bible - About HELL! - The Miracles of Jesus - Biblical Facts - Scientific PROOF
THE BIBLE SAYS THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO HEAVEN!
Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE YOU!
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9
1. Admit you are a worthless sinner. Romans 3:10
2. Be willing to turn from sin (repent). Acts 17:30
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried and
rose from the dead. Romans 10:9-10
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become
your personal Savior, Boss, King and Lord. Romans 10:13
| What to Pray:
Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned against you.
I know that I am not perfect and that I can never
please you through my own efforts. I know that I
deserve to be judged according to my sins. And, I
know that I have absolutely nothing to offer you.
Lord Jesus, I ask you to forgive me. I do not rely
on myself but only on you and I receive you as
Lord of my life and as savior of my soul.
Lord Jesus, please save me!
| Accepted Jesus as your Savior?
Now you need to:
1. Study your KJV Bible every day
to get to know Christ better.
2. Talk to God in prayer every day.
3. Be baptized, worship, fellowship,
and serve with other Christians
in a church where Christ is preached,
and the Bible is the final authority.
4. Tell others about Jesus Christ
until the day Jesus finally kills you.

We have to teach our young girls it's not how they dress, it's not what they wear. They should be forbidden to wear makeup and trashy clothes! They should learn to cook and to clean. How to care for their Children!! The world has gone down hill now that the core values have changed! In the 60's there were no homo***uals! If so there weren't many. People have corrupted this world! We need to bring back basic values from the '50s and '60s.
1 Peter 3:3 - 1 Peter 3:5
3Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
4But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
5For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
“By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” – 1 John 5:2-3

For science you can have your kids watch a Kent Hovind video, or read a Duane Gish book such as "The Fossils say No!"
For math you might have your kids study the dimensions of Noah's Ark, and calculate how many animals were on board.
For history you can talk about the immense persecution Christians have endured throughout the ages in the name of our LORD and SAVIOR.
There are so many richly educational options available to your children that their peers in public school simply don't have!

These are some excellent idea! I especially like the one about Noah's Ark, and calculating. Brilliant!

The worst problem is that the eastern minorities are pushing their kids into learning, whereas your typical liebral American sends their kid to public school where getting in touch with your feelings and learning that "meat is murder" is more important than learning how to read or write. So yes, they will probably take over the world. I'm just praying that we're raptured first.

I see, so telling students to just accept whatever a liebral textbook says isn't brainwashing, but giving people experiments that they can do for themselves is? I'm assuming that the liebral definition of "brainwashing" is anyone who disagrees with us.

Seriously, I feel bad for your children. they are going to be stupid and brain washed just like all of you.
