Standing up for Traditional Values? -
11-09-2015, 03:14 PM
Friends, how do you stand up for traditional values, for the values our Lord taught?
I guess this question is mostly applied to folks who don't live in the Landover Compound.
For those of us who don't live in Freehold, its almost like we are living in Babylon or Ancient Rome!
Outside of Freehold, you got universal homo marriage, women dressing like jezebel tramps, rampant baby killing, witchery and people determined to drive God from the public square. Its a jungle out there!
Fellow Christians, how do you stand up for God's values in our pagan society, any stories, memories, etc?
Any advice for how a true Christian should spread the Word, and call out the debauchery and sin he sees around him?

My dear, Landover Baptist Church is not about what an individual thinks. It is all about what God wants.
Why don't you read the Bible searching for appropriate verses that would answer your question?
I hope that was helpful, dear.

Amen Sister!
The Bible is clear about it, but it gives more "broad guidelines" as to the mechanism spreading the Word, as opposed to concrete instructions.
Like the other day I saw two femmy looking queers holding hands and making kissey faces. I was so saddened/concerned for them that I marched over and shrieked at them that God hated their sin, but if they repent they can get into heaven. In spite of my good intentions, I was not sure my "Witnessing" was effective .
I suppose I am just looking for "specifics" as to witnessing strategies other people have implemented and found effective.
And remember. If your strategy isn't based in the bible, I do not want it!

The thing to remember is to rebuke with words and threats straight from the Holy Bible. It's one thing to tell sinners how disgusting decent society finds them, it's another to read the Words of our Lord verbatim. This is important because He promises us faith comes from hearing those Words (Romans 10:17). I find signs and pamphlets handy ways to catch attention, and I have a specialty made handbag that is as sturdy as a conventional stoning bucket for physical rebukes (it even fits my son's slingshots), but nothing works so well as the power from the Word. It has the power to create life, and take it away! Stones work well, too.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

It's good to be a True Christian™
Sometimes I just look at the Faggot couple and think; God is going to give you aids, because God wants you to have aids. Not; I hope you get aids, or you might get aids. God is going to give them aids because it is His will to give them aids and then with their aids he will send them merrily off to Satan to be jackknifed by a 3 pronged poker for all of eternity and burn in Hell, alive, and live through it, in Hell. I smile to myself and think; My God, He is on top of His game.
Sometimes it is just enough to know. Then there are other times when nobody else is around and a proper right Rebuke up the side of the head with a sturdy KJV 1611 Bible is possible.
Leviticus 18:22
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Matthew 25:40
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
2 Thessalonians 1:8
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Our good Sisters Basilissa and Mary are quite wise. The Bible can tell us all we need to know.
Ecclesiastes 1:18 - For in much wisedome is much griefe: and hee that increaseth knowledge, increaseth sorrow.

Sister Mary, thank you so much for your kind words of wisdom!
What else could one expect from a woman shares a name with the mother of our Lord and Savior?
Reading directly from the bible... funny you should mention that. I've noticed that when one reads directly (or even broadly references passages from it) it can help convince people or draw out the listeners true nature!
Check out this godly young man who tried to witness to gays at a Pride Parade! He spoke God's word to them and it really brought out the devil in the listeners!:
We really have to thank the Lord for men like this street preacher! Everyday they suffer scorn and rebuke of this world, but yet they keep at it!

This video shows a man who is standing up for traditional values.

The speaker is Pastor Kevin Swanson, a radio host acting as the host and moderator of the recent "National Religious Liberties Conference." Now let me be clear-- I am not particularly a fan of his liberal politics, his permissive and coddling attitude toward sinners, and his hippie-like hairstyle, but he does have some passion about defending America from the gays.

^ Wow. Kevin Swanson is really on Fire for the Lord!
He is right. A gay marriage is a "cry for help" not something for people to be joyful about.
My one complaint is why aren't the leaders of God's Party (Republicans) speaking this manner? Why aren't they shouting from the rooftops about how bad being Gay is?
Mr. Trump has proven to be a fearless fellow on so many issues. Maybe he eventually will be so on this issue?

I like the example of this lady, witnessing to the father of that Godless whore Katy Perry. "I kissed a girl and I liked it?" That's SICK!!
"Come Unto Me. Put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath." (Matthew 19:14, Job 1:11).

To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.
Jeremiah:6:10
Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah:6:15
Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.
Jeremiah:6:30
----
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Romans:1:25
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Romans:1:26
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Romans:1:27
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Romans:1:28
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Romans:1:29
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Romans:1:30
Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Romans:1:31
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Romans:1:32
---
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2 Timothy:3:7
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
2 Timothy:3:8
---
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Leviticus:20:13

Amen!
Far too many Christians want church to be a "serve-us" But it is about SERVICE to God
Deuteronomy 28:47-48
Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.
A frightening picture of what happens when we get too focused on ourselves and not on serving the Lord.

One part of our Lord's doctrine has my children scared to death, of which, they will NEVER even think about cursing their father and mother, and that is they're to be put to death if they do.
'Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.” (Exodus 21:17)
Jesus substantiates this premise in Matthew 15: 3-4 when He is criticized by the Pharisees for not washing his hands before eating. Jesus defends Himself by attacking them in a quid pro quo stance for not killing disobedient children according to the commandment; "And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? For God said, 'Honor your father and mother' and anyone who curses his father or mother MUST BE PUT TO DEATH.
Yes, Jesus is a man's man!
