Typical liberal Christian-lite handwaving. The fact is that the Lord does care about appearances:
1 Thess. 5:22: Abstain from all appearance of evil.
As for conforming to the code, God wants us to do that, too:
1 Peter 2:13-14: Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
In short, you really ought to try reading your Bible some time.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

I suppose you might be better off keeping a P.O. box.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Most of us in the civilized world expect that. That's why I started this thread, to point out that people should respect their letter carrier.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

What is wrong with this mailbox? How long will the residents of 316 A------- St. let it languish in this condition?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I personally think duct-tape is to close a phily womans mouth when not obeying her husband. Also for fixing the showerhead to the wall to prevent its being used for inproper egoistic selfenjoy

What have you got against women from Philadelphia? My cousin lives there. She isn't that mouthy.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Here's another house who isn't conforming to the municipal code. These people apparently want everyone who drives by to know that their allegiance is to Bob Marley and his Rastafarians, and not to the Red, White, and Blue.
How about moving back to Jamaica, OK?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Here's an example of 'unclear on the concept':
The parallelogram shaped numbers are meant to be aligned neatly and give a pleasant italic effect. You're not supposed to apply them upright- see how the outline is jagged and untidy?
What's with the numbering on this place? 332A 2 could have just as easily been called 332B! Why try to make everything confusing for the mail carrier. Who knows if they can even read!?!?
Also, It must have been necessary to use a bicycle tube to keep the gate closed. Otherwise there wouldn't be a bike tube strapped across this gate.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Your kid's art project is cute:
But, someone needs to get out there with some glue and re-set those tiles. Get rid of the spiders, too.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.
