Thank God for objective reporting of history. We hear so much about how terrible segregation was for black people in the South, especially in Mississippi.
But, we hear it from people who are not objective observers, black people themselves and white lieberals. They had a lot to gain by complaining about segregation.
Now, finally, an objective man has spoken. That is Mississippi Governor Haly Barbour, a white man, who has nothing to gain be reporting his observations about segregation one way or another. Brother Barbour grew up in Yazoo City, Mississippi, so he had a ground level view of segregation. He told the
Weekly Standard recently, "I just don't remember it being all that bad."

We need more heros like Brother Barbour to report things as they actually were, instead of how some biased people say they "remember".
