So how is this not like the story of Job? I mean, children are quite expensive and being a sinner I have many sins of the flesh in my mind at all times. Even though I constantly ask the Lord for help with these matters I must give in to them and coupling with my wife with such regularity, we'd be overrun with kids.

You are right about the slippery slope, but I believe that masturbation in itself is a sin as well. Consider the following Passage:

Asking your daughter or son what the white stuff is is no lie, it is a question. Their answer to the question will clarify if they have been sinful or not, as Brother Eliot explained.
