Rude question an atheist asked me today. -
11-18-2014, 10:37 PM
An atheist rudely butted in while I was witnessing to his children in the supermarket queue today about Jesus and how they need to work hard to believe in Him so as to not burn forever in Hell (even if their daddy is a foul heathen who never goes to church). He asked me what he thought was a clever question.
"If God asked you to sacrifice a child like Abraham, would you do it?" He seemed to think he had found a challenge to my faith. I proudly told him that of course I would kill any number of children if God told me to do it.
Oh holy example of how to truly honour the LORD
I left him open mouthed with his children in awe of the commitment of a true man of God's commitment to obey his LORD. That atheist learned a valuable lesson in how true morality comes only from divine commandments from God. Who knows, we may see him in church any time soon, begging for Jesus to forgive him
The poor atheists; with no moral compass how can they possibly know what is right and what is wrong? I shall find out where he lives and try again if I see his children playing outside. The thought of their innocent souls frying on Satan's tallywacker because I didn't lure them away for a Bible reading session in the back of my camper van is too terrible to contemplate.

I am so sorry you had to be subjected to such hardships today. It truly is difficult to carry this burden as we do, Brother.
But you must have chuckled a little on the inside when this heathen thought he was presenting a challenge to you!

This just shows how more superior Christians are; through knowing the Lord's commands, they can respond to any challenge that some unsaved that think they are clever and witty, throw at them! Praise the Lord!

This is so true, Mrs Johnson. We are far superior to all those atheists, heathens, false Christians, secular scientists, homersexurals and all the other abominations. Not only are we smarter than them all because God is on our side, but we are the only ones who can be the moral arbiters of the world. All those others have no morals - they are no better than animals without God to guide them. They rely on raw instincts - which means they rape and murder and lie and fornicate - just like the animals they'd like to think they descended from. We, the True Christians™ are by far superior to those other abominable mortals. (And I include some Forum Members in our number - ie: you)

Not to question the Lord's timing, but how sweet it would have been if, at the very moment the vile atheist posed that ludicrous question, Christ gave you the green light to snap the neck of the smaller child, as an object lesson to the father and surviving child on blindly following His commands without hesitation...but I am not one to second guess The Savior...

"I proudly told him that of course I would kill any number of children if God told me to do it." PRODLY, P R O U D L Y hhahaha , just haha.
Are you a murderer? Tell me? I thought i talked about beating people up but damn you should be locked up in prison for being able to actually kill children, i think you are danger to our society.
Let me guess, if bible tells you to kill your own mom , you'd do that too because you don't have your own brain right?

First of all, Redeemed Papist, I praise the Lord for your courage in reaching out to the lost. I have had parents rip children out of my arms while I was witnessing to them about Christ. I recall once in D'Agostino's having to deal with a screaming mother threatening to call the police if I didn't hand over her six year old son. I had convinced him of hell and the need for salvation that very moment. He was crying out to Jesus: "HELP ME! HELP ME!" and the Holy Ghost was just so comforting and mellow as we prayed together - but here comes mom, cursing me and reviling me (PRAISE GOD!), calling me a pervert. I can still see the broken hearted expression on that child's face as mother took him from prayer to a likely life of delinquency and hell fire.
As for those that would question our dedication to the Lord's command, all I can say is this: Tell me which makes more sense, please: Doing as our Almighty GOD instructs, or disobedience that results in more souls being given over to the devil? I know which I choose - and it is the choice that pleaseth my Heavenly King. Glory to His Name.
COME, Lord Jesus,
BrotherLarry
Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”
Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man. Amen and Amen

Please quote me chapter and verse on that. The Bible doesn't tell us to kill our mothers, it tells us to honour them.
I said if GOD told me to do it. Like Abraham, if a voice in my head I knew was God told me to kill my mother I would. Who am I to disobey God?
Please, get your moral compass sorted out, you heathen scum.
