seriously i dont want to fight with you guys, i'm a Christian, an Anglican to be exact.

Now other things since i can't start threads (kinda dont want to be allowed to post threads, for fear of accidentally vandilizing....)

i dont understand what the problem though is with watching movies and STORIES about fiction.

I believe in God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus, I know for a fact that Jesus gave His life on the cross to free us from our sins.

Watching a movie for entertainment so that we can do something with our lives. I know that we should pray to God and thank HIM for everything he provides us with, but there should be a part where we get to the 21st century where people do stuff that we cant do anything about.

I respect everything the LORD Almighty asks us to do, but to do stuff like KILLING gay people and mentally handicapped is illegal.

If we can save those that are gay, and those that are handicapped, using new technologies and medicines that can cure those people (that you call evil and infected with demons) then that is just the more people we can live with.

And the thing about beating your child and wife. It's understandable to want a good, self respecting community that acts responsibly, but regular dicipline should be enough to straighten out children.

Ofcourse there are the real rotten children that are plain evil that you need to straigthen up... maybe im missing the point that that is what you mean by beating your children.

Another thing is when someone said to get their child a .22 rifle for punching a queer, and to test the gun out on a nieghbor's cat. That to me seems wrong, i would like some reasons why you think it would be okay to hurt your nieghbors by damaging thier pet.

Please dont bash me, only kindly explain your reasons, for i am just a young adult seeking advice on how i can be a better Christian even if i dont agree with everything the bible says.

Those are just my feelings and i hope that God will forgive me if i am wrong since HE created me and i know that he understands how my mind works. HE knows i dont mean any disrepect since i that i am with HIM>

one last thing, God tempts us, correct?

He wants to know how far we will follow him, correct?

With the knowledge of math and sciences of how chemicals work, and how gravity works, can we not mix both science and Religion?

Sorry for being a little messy there, i wrote all this all at once, while under the stress of not knowing if i am worthy or not, forgive me if what i wrote is a little hard to understand.

Son, sitting on your rump and watching an endless stream of pablum is NOT doing something with you life. The occasional film if OK. (I recommend the documentary 'The Passion of the Christ,' even though it was made by that papist, Mel Gibson.) But every hour you spend watching movies, think of all the souls you could be saving from eternal hellfire. Saving people from Hell? THAT is doing something with your life!

I am confused. What does the 21st century have to do with people 'doing things we can't do anything about?' That has been going on for ages. (God got so upset that people weren't listening to His word once that he murdered EVERYONE in the world except for Noah and his family. Sound familiar?) We can't save everyone, but True Christians have always known this. We save who we can and rebuke the rest as God tells us to.

God ALSO tells us to obey man's law because it was GOD who put the government i control over us. That doesn't mean that we can't work to change our government so we can re-institute capital punishment for queers and disobedient children. Have you been WATCHING the news at all over the last 20 years? What, exactly, do you think Godly politicians like Sarah Palin are talking about when she says we have to "take back our Govt so we can bring it back to God?" Why do you think God's favorite movie actor, Chuck Norris, says Texas should succeed from the Union so it can enact Christian government? Why do you think Dean Wycoff, leader of the Santa Clara Moral Majority said, "I agree with capital punishment, and I believe homosexuality is one of those that could be coupled with murder and other sins?"

Do you think they just want to hang 10 commandments in every government building? No! Biblical law ruling the day is our goal. Once that is achieved, we can follow God's law to the letter.

You can't be ANY kind of Christian if you don't agree with 100% of the Bible. Baptists agree with this. Evangelicals agree with this. Even Catholics agree, reluctantly.

If you find even ONE thing in the Bible that you don't think is true or is morally wrong, then you are NOT a Christian. End of story.

He will not forgive you unless you accept Jesus Christ. And that means, in every church on Earth, accepting that the Bible is the inerrant word of God.

Science IS religion. Everything is the examination of God's wonder. You start with what the Bible says is true, then you go and confirm it through observation.

I don't THINK otherwise, the BIBLE says so. You seem to labor under the impression that how YOU or I feel about the rightness or wrongness of God's laws somehow enters into the equation. Stop it. The law is clear. I want to show the world that i am an open minded person. So i watched a movie with this muslim. The movie was called Lost in Vegas or something.
So im not really sure what the message of this movie was, but this guy was taking drugs all the time. I was quite a bit shocked about this retard, i honestly dont even thing that he was acting.
