Had he not been well-armed that night, he would've simply had to call the police and cower in fear like a sissy as his property was destroyed by thieves and vandals.

The Freehold PD may be tough on crime, but we can't be everywhere at once.

If it had been me, cornered in my house by two thugs slobber over their next rape and murder I would have turned lights off and ghosted them ninja style; used my superior sense of hearing and spacial awareness to take punch their time clock, one by one. There wouldn't even be corpses the next day.

But Rev Osborn is a pastor so he did well enough for a civilian.
