Proper ways to display your street address: -
07-05-2008, 05:35 AM
Dear Friends and Brothers,
Recent trips throughout the neighborhood have revealed an inconsistency in the approved format for painting street numbers.
As per local municipal codes:
Quote:
- 11.04.0203,Numbers must be visible from street. All numbers must be so placed that they are easily discernible from the public street or highway on which the house or structure which they number fronts or has entrance. (Ord. 242, Sec.2; March 13, 1830.)
- 11.04.038 Numbering system--Odd and even numbers--Where commenced. The numbering shall commence at points on the respective public streets or highways, as designated by resolution hereafter duly passed and adopted by the City Council, with odd numbers assigned to the left side of the street and even numbers assigned to the right side. Unless otherwise authorized and directed by such resolution of the City Council, the numbers 1 and 2, respectively will be used at the point of commencement of the respective sides of the street and a consecutive odd or even number, respectively, will be assigned to each 25 feet or major portion thereof, as above set forth in Section 11.04.017. (Ord. 255, Sec.3; March 13, 1830.)
- 11.04.038 Street addresses shall be painted in black on a white reflective background ONLY. An American flag ONLY is permitted to be painted alongside the street address.
|
Here is an example of an acceptable street address display. It is clean and easy for emergency responders to read:
Here is a model example of how your street address should read. PAY THE 10 EXTRA DOLLARS FOR THE FLAG, DUMMY!
This, however, does not conform to the municipal code. The beaners at this address will be contacted and will be required to have their address repainted.
When you get your notice this year to have your street address repainted, be sure to pay the 10$ extra for the flag!! OK??
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I take great pride in displaying my house number. Not only am I in conformity with code, but also, the five-digit number shows that my house is at a Godly distance from town, unlike those hipsters who have to live in "vibrant," "smart-growth" inner-city neighborhoods .

What if I want TWO flags there?
Would that be OK? (I plan to paint both myself-these gold-digging heretics aren't getting a dime from me!)

Well, I suppose up in the Godless cesspool of Wiscon sin (which shares a border with French Cannuckistan ) anything goes. Around Freehold, something like that would get you a one-way trip to GITMO.
We don't bugger young boys while we worship satan, and we don't tolerate those who do.

Look at what I made for you.
That is the house number for your rectory, no?

I noticed this when I was out recently:
You are NOT to put stickers of your favorite band on your mailbox. Do you want the mailman to be wondering if you are front242 or not? The only thing that should be painted on your mailbox beside your number is your NAME!! That's it!! The Postal Dept. will be instructed to hold mail for homeowners who don't comply with this regulation. Make sure you're not one of them!
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

This doesn't work, either. Who broke this mailbox post? How long has it been like this? Fix it already!! The world isn't going to just wait around while the post fixes itself.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

That right there is demonic code. It lets satan's minions know that other demons live there.
You wait and see if some "accident" doesn't befall that hellhouse before long. Jesus knows how to handle scum like that.

This isn't O.K., either:
What do you think your mail carrier thinks every day when he sees your public display of hatred for our troops? This neighbor is lucky to get his letters delivered.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

What kind of packages do you think these hippies are expecting today? Whatever it is, mail carriers shouldn't be required to carry it:

Just a matter of simple security, Brother. I commend it to you.

The picture you displayed with the Chinese is particularly disturbing.
It consists of two Chinese characters. The first one 私 is pronounces si and means "secret." The second one is 宅 and means building. Si zhai (私宅) equals "secret building."
Obviously the sneaky chink has never read Jeremiah 23:24: Can anyone hide in secret places that I cannot see him? saith the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
"Come Unto Me. Put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath." (Matthew 19:14, Job 1:11).

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
And yes, the Vatican definitely falls into the "mammon" category.

I'm guessing that probably belongs to liberals or atheists who keep their mailbox like that deliberately. Those crazies hate everything that's normal and decent.

Even if they're not hippies, they're definitely queers. They probably sodomise that thing when no-one's looking.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

This number isn't conforming to the municipal code. It should be black on white. At least it's colored in red, white and blue. I just hope that it's not some commie flag in disguise.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

who cares what the mailman thinks about a mailbox and the way it is painted! this discussion is ludicrous, and is vain and idle talk. show me a verse in the bible that states that uniformity shall be practiced in labelling your mail box! im pretty sure that people are going to have more to worry about at the judgement seat of christ than how their mail box was painted! and as for the commie flag comment, it is rather commie of you to try to dictate how people paint their stupid little mail boxes.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
