Then why is the bible filled with texts like this:
John 5:26-29:
For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
It is clear Jesus judges people here. I don't think that's a bad thing, as I myself believe the judgment of the Mother Goddess decides whether a person is reincarnated or enters the Otherworld. As long as the judgment is righteous, I don't care.

I thought you were nice and accepting, but apparently you are not. I'll pray that you open your heart to love and joy.

How can you possibly say such a thing, Serenity? Aren't you judging me right now?
Anyway, I don't believe in Jesus, and I am glad I don't.
Being nice and accepting does not mean accepting whatever people tell you. If you would do that, you would just be a computer, ready to be programmed by whatever person happens to walk by.
And let me tell you, I know a lot of love and joy since I was induced into The Craft. It's so great to be guided by the Wisdom of the Mother Goddess!

I must say, the thought of Jimmy, you and me singing kumbya together at a campfire in heaven makes me laugh out loud. It would be nice if it were possible, of course...

Missy, I am your elder and as such, deserve some modicum of respect. You may call me Mr. Hutchins.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

My goodness, mr. Millennium! Do you really think anyone is fooled by your blasphemic teachings here?
For little Cassie here, and other interested people of course, here is the link to my discussion with mr. Millennium, which he for some reason didn't post. Please decide for yourself whether mr. Millennium is right on this or not.
A short recap:
The discussion was about the Greek word aionion, which was used frequently in the Bible and was translated with "eternal" in the KJV. Mr. Millennium's viewpoint was that that was wrong, because this word could mean "until the eons/eonian times," which would denote something which had an ending. So it could mean either eternal or temporal.
However, I've showed that in each and every case where this word was used as an adjective (aside from punishment), it is applied to something which was generally considered to be eternal, like God, God's Reign and the Afterlife. Therefore, the Biblical writers apparently used this word to mean "eternal" as well in the case of punishment.
Mr. Millennium, you still have to rebuke this point. If you want to, please do it in the original thread. If you choose not to, just accept that you are wrong about this, and stop whining.
Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
Praised be Your Glorious Name™.
Amen.

Well, I'm a vegetarian as well, of course, but that's mainly to make a statement against the cruel and unnatural treatment of animals.
In principle hunting isn't evil, as it is the natural way of all animals to eat each other, and in nature there always is a balance between predator and prey. However, humanity has upset this balance and ravaged the natural order.

In this day and age we'll never see a second coming because G-d is too afraid to send his only son back to earth just to be killed in the womb...where he would be most vulnerale in to the devils abortion powers.

Where in the King James Bible does it say that GOD is ever afraid?

I really like the self-contradiction in your post, friend! Keep making us laugh, you're amazing!
In the meantime, could you please give an example of the word aionion used as an adjective, and applied to anything else than God, God's reign, the Afterlife and punishment? Or point out when you did so before?
Amen.

In the meantime, could you please give an example of the word aionion used as an adjective, and applied to anything else than God, God's reign, the Afterlife and punishment? Or point out when you did so before?

Honestly young man, nobody likes a sore loser. Don't worry, nobody can possibly think less of you than they already did because of this

Nobody? Are you saying you think Jesus doesn't like me? I thought your ideology taught Jesus liked everyone!
And your scorn doesn't matter to me, I'm used to being persecuted. That proves I'm right! Of course, your refusal to address the aionion issue already proved my point, so this was redundant. But thanks nevertheless!

Huh? How did I say Jesus doesn't like you? I said everyone still likes you just the same as before, whether you are right or not (btw- Jesus LOVES you! )

Well, I thought I pretty thoroughly explained the issue in the other thread, but you chose not to read my posts and just say they were wrong I want to drop it because I don't think God wants us involved in endless arguments:
Matthew 7: 6"Don't be flip with the sacred. Banter and silliness give no honor to God. Don't reduce holy mysteries to slogans. In trying to be relevant, you're only being cute and inviting sacrilege.
Colossians 4: 5-6Use your heads as you live and work among outsiders. Don't miss a trick. Make the most of every opportunity. Be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation, not put them down, not cut them out.
2 Timothy 2: 22-26Run away from infantile indulgence. Run after mature righteousness—faith, love, peace—joining those who are in honest and serious prayer before God. Refuse to get involved in inane discussions; they always end up in fights. God's servant must not be argumentative, but a gentle listener and a teacher who keeps cool, working firmly but patiently with those who refuse to obey. You never know how or when God might sober them up with a change of heart and a turning to the truth, enabling them to escape the Devil's trap, where they are caught and held captive, forced to run his errands.

I don't believe I am persecuting you, but you do, so you're welcome.
