Friend, I'm afraid this is one of those forest for the trees situations. You see, women should not be wearing shoes, much less driving automobiles. If the kitchen floor is not clean enough for her to go barefoot, buying her a car is not going to make the tile clean itself.
My ex-wife Ethel was always getting into mischief, like participating in donkey porn or sneaking a peek out a window during daylight hours. To discourage her from wandering too far I would sear the bottoms of her feet with an iron every few days. I noticed she also cleaned the floor more diligently, but this was due to her pagan belief in the germ model of disease.
Fortunately, she was stoned to death by anonymous vigilantes, doing their best to serve God in Biblical accord. Thus I was able to marry a True Christian™ woman who knows her place. Now Ethel is burning in Hell, and everything is as it should be.
God has a way of working these things out.
