I beg to differ. While the Lord has the power to do anything, I doubt he would bother converting a NIV to a KJV. I mean, a NIV is little better than the Qu'ran or a kid's book about Santa Claus or a book of satanic writings. Why would He bother?

They certainly are impractical. I would never have one, but maybe that's just me.

This just proves that God saw the Bible and decided to save the guy by sending someone to walk in the woods right by him. The rain and the time delay are probably due to the crappy (NIV) version.

To me, the mother is a Christian hero. Maybe they should be using her to pass out (proper) Bibles in hospitals. God seems to take care of the people on whom she bestows her loving touch.

Wow, this reminds me so much of Abraham and Isaac, whose faith God tested by asking him to sacrifice his only son! What character and strength the mother has! To abandon her drooling retard incapable son in the woods for 5 days, and not even going back to him to feed him or check if he's alright after 4, no, she kept having faith in God that God would do what is right, she had the strength of faith to leave the care of her son in Jesus' hands. Who can honestly say they could do the same? Leaving their children in the woods to starve and having the simple faith to know God will make things right. I doubt very few of those who call themselves Christians would, even if they've read Genesis 22:1-2,10-12
