No, I haven't. Not since I was born again, anyway. Not a headache or a toothache or a backache. Not a single bout of vomiting or diarrhoea. No loss of vision or hearing (I'm 40 now). No diabetes or arthritis. No decline in memory and concentration or other mental faculties. Do you know why? Because Jesus not only bore all my sins on the cross (1 Pet 2:24); He also bore all my ailments – which makes perfect sense, as sickness and death are caused by sin (Rom 5:12-14).
Is 53:4-5
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
The Hebrew word for griefs is חֳלִי, which Jesus confirms means sicknesses.
Mt 8:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
The consequences of sin – sickness and decay – have been removed from me just as surely as my sin has (Ps 103:12). If I were ever to fall ill and not be instantly healed, it would raise some difficult questions. Are my sins forgiven? Am I leading a life of sin, and therefore not truly saved (1 Jn 5:18)? Does sin somehow still have power over me? Did Jesus not die for me? Or was His sacrifice not sufficient in some way? Of course, these are just hypothetical questions. I know I will never have to ask them.
I feel sorry for people like you, living in denial of reality. Sin will kill you. Jesus is the only cure.
| Mt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Titus 3:3-5 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost
The Bible is very clear that prayer prevents illness and heals infirmity. Not just some illness, not a partial or temporary recovery. No-one who rejects Christ can expect to be healthy. Everyone who accepts Him can. The Bible explains:
Psalm 103:2-5a Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things
Praise Jesus!

Buddy, living a fantasy is no way to go through life. Go with God instead.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I know what a microscope is and sometimes they can be useful to look at small things. The Bible explains that some things are actually invisible! As to whether these cause or result from disease, the jury is still out. It's important to consider both sides of the question though.
God refers to devils causing contamination in people as well as disease. I'll just post two examples:
Matthew 4:24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.
Luke 4:40b-41a They that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them. And devils also came out of many, crying out.. Sometimes people suggest that Matthew was a theologian or a student of law, possibly a government official, and as such would hold any number of ancient superstitions. That cannot be said of Luke, a physician. There are differences of emphasis when Luke refers to medicine as compared to Mark, say.
Colossians 4:14 Luke is a doctor.
Luke 8:43 Some things are incurable.
Mark 5:26 Doctors try to fleece you. Jesus was able to correct both these misconceptions however. In the previous verses the words and and also show distinct categories of malady. One does not use and otherwise. For instance you wouldn't say Bob is wearing his hat and his hat and if he happened to be wearing two hats you might say Bob is wearing his hat and a different hat (at the same time) I'm sure you get the idea.
God has distinguished the following: • diseases
• torments
• devils
• lunacy
• palsy As we read The Bible we discover how God corrects misconceptions about what's caused by devils and what may be caused by sin, say, or simple misadventure. For example if I hit myself with a hammer I'll experience torment and there are actually people who do that. The discomfort is not caused by disease or "microbes" or the palsy. It could be lunacy I suppose.
Now I do not hit myself with hammers! But it's an example of malady not caused by disease. Can you find an account similar to my hammer example in The Bible?
What did Jesus say the cause was?

So true, Brother Mayor. So True. You'd think something so objectively clear and yet so simple would break through the hateful barriers of the liberals, but it's obvious their hearts belong to Satan and they hate children.

Well done Sister! You may have spared his life yet! Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

Are secular parents just too enthusiastic about making excuses for bad behavior and, by doing so, encouraging it? I mean, several of my boys have gone through what I can only describe as a mor onic phase. On my mother-in-law's advice, I dealt with it by simply ignoring them and refusing to feed them until they got over themselves. None of them held out for more than a week.

I did not have access to the Internet and this wonderful forum at that time. We did as we thought best, by what was in the Bible. Perhaps if God opens my womb again, we will try that on our next child.

Hmmm, I'll bet your sister is holding onto hidden sin in her life. Did she ever play bingo at the local Catholic hall or accidentally buy food with a halal label? She needs to repent so Jesus can curse those flu germs. James 5:14,15 "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."

Is it possible that non- True Christian doctors use needles that have been used by homers and addicts? So by getting the flu shot, you might be opening yourself up for demons. None of my children have gotten vaccinated because the Lord protects them (praise Jesus!) and because my husband doesn't want them to be exposed to any demon-infested doctors.

I read a report that 100 people a week are dying of the flu in the U.S.
What that means to me is that 100 people a week were not praying to Jesus for resistance against the flu. It is 100 atheists we True Christians do not have to put up with.

I think the photo of this young, vaccinated boy proves very clearly the dangers of the vaccinations. He may very well have to wear dentures for the rest of his life, and all because his parents believed nonsense about how people should be vaccinated!
