A New York City taxi driver was stabbed multiple times Tuesday after a drunken passenger determined he is a Muslim. The victim, Ahmed Sharif, was slashed across his face, neck and hands. Sharif says the suspect, Michael Enright, had asked him several questions about his religion, including whether he’s a Muslim and observing Ramadan. Bhairavi Desai of the New York Taxi Workers Alliance spoke with Sharif at his hospital bed. She describes what he said happened.

Are you sure about the self defense? I've heard it was an ultra-liberal arts student who stabbed the muslim.

I suspect the arts student (obviously) didn't have the money to pay the driver, and muslims don't feel charity, love or compassion for others, so a fight ensued and the leftist stabbed the muslim. I'd like to think God allowed it to happen because it means one more muslim learns his lesson.

I remember a similar so called attack about 2 months after 9/11. I was living in New York and a construction worker was accused of shooting a mudslime cabbie. He was later acquitted of all charges, it seems the cabbie shot himself in the back of the head. I am sure that this cabbie attacked himself with a knife, they will do anything to make a Christian look bad.

No, if it was Liberal Arts Student this means this was rough gay sex. It's called "knife play" and quite ordinary in San Fransisco so they don't make the news.

Enright was arraigned on Wednesday on multiple charges including felony attempted murder as a hate crime.
