As we all know from Proverbs 23:13-14 "Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die."

However, beating your babies with rods, while effective, does not make for a good night's sleep. As babies are extremely susceptible to satan's influence and will reject the punishment as well as the Will of God by crying. I know this from experience. I have a 1 year old boy who constantly tries to defy God by masturbating and crying/laughing in church. I have found these punishments to be the most effective in putting the fear of God into these rascals.


Idea #1: Withholding the luxury of breast milk.

The first time my 1 year old (a few months at the time) started laughing in church this was the first thing that came to mind. I forbid my wife from breastfeeding our son or giving him any type of food for the day. She laughed at me proceeded to breastfeed our son so I was forced to strike her.

Idea #2: Physical restraints

After my baby started crying in the middle of the night for absolutely no reason (he was 2 months old at the time, no excuse) me and some of my Christian friends decided it was the best idea to tape his mouth shut. When he started rattling his crib I tied his hands and feet to the crib. Eventually he stopped fighting it.

Idea #3: Isolation

If your child seems to enjoy your wife's company more than your own, it's entirely possible that he/she is possessed by a demon and either wants to force your wife to commit adultery (in my case) or kill you and marry their mother (in the case of a friend of mine). The only way to put a stop to this is putting your baby in isolation for up to a week at a time. The only human contact your baby should have is when you're feeding them. This will bore the demon into releasing your child.







I hope you all enjoyed my ideas and I am not a professional caretaker but I know that the Lord guides my life. And that is enough for me.

SPECIALLY if it's a mindless one year old.

Proverbs 10:13 In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding

By reading your "ideas", it seems that you have a problem with your wife, meaning that you are the one responsible. Properly present her with the following verse and should she fail to see the wisdom within send her to one of our Women's Seminars where you can count on our good Pastors to put her back on the straight and narrow..

I appreciate your insight but I feel like many parents of young babies are dealing with a terrible evil persuading and possessing their children. One thing that can not be fixed by the rod.

Then why didn't you bring that satan possessed child to our pastors?

They can surely throw Satan out.

To let satan himself abide in your home...

Nonsense. If hitting the child with a rod doesn't fix the child, you're not hitting hard enough!

Also I do use the rod as an effective and frequent punishment, I do feel like at times other punishments are more effective. Or if used in conjunction with the rod will increase its effectiveness. But I guess you're right. I am sparing my child the rod too much in fear of killing him. But I know that if I do not spare him the rod and I do kill him, then he will go to heaven and be with our Lord and Savior.

These seem like good ideas, but they don't appear to be biblically based.

My advice would be to beat it to near death. Proverbs 13:24. Beating children works miracles.

Of course, children are like cream, they need to be beaten until they are light and fluffy.

For the LORD has brought us to a land of milk and honey.

The bee's sting to educate children, the bee's honey to tempt and test adults.

Whipped cream for education of children, curled cheese for testing the faith of adults.

Job 10:10 Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese?

I'm not so sure we want "light and fluffy" young soldiers of Christ running around, but I see what you are saying. A good beating will harden a boy/girl up, and put them in their place, and remind them to listen to, and respect their elders.
