Christians in the U. S. Suffer More Than Christians in the Middle East. -
12-28-2013, 05:17 PM
There is so much news about Christians being run out of Iraq, Syria, Iran and those other Muslim countries. These Christians just go to another courntry, set up shop and they are fine. There is so little attention is given the persecution and suffering by those of us in the U. S.
Because the liberal news media are all atheists, it likes stories of Muslims persecuting Christians. They don't want to report on their own friends, atheists, persecuting us.
The news media does not want to discuss that when manger scenes are banned from public parks, real tears are shed. They could care less that highlight of every True Christian's™ year are Christian Christmas Carols sung by the angelic voices of public school children.
I guess there is not much hope for getting sympathy from the general public for our suffering. We can only look to each other for support.

Thank you, Brother Mayor, for this timely support. Why, just the other day I was accosted by someone outside Walmart who wished me a "Happy Holidays" and my son asked me why that person hated Jesus so much that he wouldn't want to wish Him a Happy Birthday. With tears in my eye I had to explain to my child, my child, that ours would be a life of persecution in these United States. We can take nothing for granted here, not even the comfort in knowing our fellow Americans are moral and decent citizens who know and love the LORD.
It really shook me up, Mr. Hold. I had nightmares. I still do.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Sister E, what an assault on your religious freedoms you have suffered. When a Christian Mother is in a mall with her child, she should not have to give up her religious freedom and hear "Happy Holidays".
Every single day, day after day, we suffer from fewer religious freedoms. Sit down in the waiting room while you car is being repaired, look up at the TV and another religious freedom violated, CNN instead of Fox.
This suffering has got to stop.

Saying "Happy Holidays" is no more Constitutional than allowing homosexuals the right to officiate their love for one another, or allowing women to have lives and thoughts of their own. These permissive standards are preventing us from practicing our religion, and thus violating the First Amendment. Since the Bible commands us to execute homosexuals AND obey secular law, the United States government cannot pass laws that protect the lives of homosexuals, without impinging on the rights of Christians to practice Christianity. This same problem applies when the government prevents us from owning and raping women, as God commands His followers to do throughout the Bible. Thus, the only way to uphold the Constitution is by forcing Christianity on the entire world.

Our neighbors, a young couple with a 12-year-old son, have a Christmas tree that they call a "holiday" tree. This was really offensive to me.
My neighbors should realize that the ONLY reason they have a tree in the first place is because of Jesus CHRIST and the celebration of His blessed birth. Therefore, I feel that they do not have the right to artificially connect their tree to a non-Christian celebratory observance. I told them point-blank: Your tree is irretrievably connected to Jesus and you have NO RIGHT to call it a holiday tree. They got all pissy about it, but I know I am right.
These neighbors also have a little wooden carved nativity scene has a star over the manger and a bunch of shepherds and animals, which is Biblically correct, but there were no wise men. Everybody knows that the wise men showed up while the shepherds were there and that a nativity scene without BOTH present is just blasphemous. I gently observed this to them, and they said they lost two of the wise men and having just one seemed a little weird. "Get a new nativity set," I wanted to scream.
The joke is on them, though. I have secret prayer sessions with their son, which allows me to preach the gospel and counteract their straying from the true Word of God. I got a play station just because they won't let him have one, and now he stops by after school. We can sit on the sofa side by side and play games, which this give me a chance to talk about Jesus. He's a nice kid. Good player. Polite. Hair smells like sunshine and good shampoo. Too bad his parents are such a bad influence.
"Come Unto Me. Put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath." (Matthew 19:14, Job 1:11).

Indeed, a wonderful mentor.
Maybe this young man and his contemporaries will be the generation that lays it lives down to preserve our religious freedoms. We need people who defend until death use of Christian words during Christian holy days. The religious freedom not to see sectarian words used must be fought for.
We have had Christian martyrs arrested while blocking the entrances to abortion clinics. God bless them. What we need now is martrys blocking the entrances to department stores that advertise, Happy Holidays. When customers can't get in, store managers will see the error of their ways.
My new motto is, Religious Freedom is Not Free.

This might sounds a bit harsh, but I actually think that saying "Happy Holiday" should be illegal. Whenever I hear someone saying those hateful words, I feel that my rights as a Christian is violated. "Freedom of speech" should not surpass freedom of religion (aka freedom to practise Christianity).
Infact it doesn't even say in the Bible that we should have free speech, on the contrary it does say that people who thinks in a certain manner should be stoned to death. So why is there freedom of speech in the Christian nation of the United States? God hates free speech

But "holiday" really means "Holy Day", so it isn't too bad.
Except for the fact that people who use the expression obviously have no idea which Holy Day they're celebrating, otherwise they'd use the proper name.

Of COURSE it is, Irene darling. Pastor, with your permission I will either (A) Hold Irene down while you slap her, or (B ) Administer the punishment myself because you have so many things to do. Perhaps it is better for the womenfolk to handle this one?

I accept, nay, I relish the privilege of being punished for my sins, especially with Pastor Zeke's tools of trade. I am yours Paster Zeke to punish as you will. And I humbly seek the forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Christ for my sins.
But if Miss Lamb also wishes to administer a few slaps to my bare buttocks, who am I to object? I am nothing. I am a low, ignorant and weak female. And after Miss Lamb's slapping, we could indulge in taste testing each other' pies.

The persecution faced by Christians in our Godly country is simply devastating. For example, the persecution that we face each day here on our tranquil Godly forum. We would like nothing more than to talk about the infinite wisdom contained in the Bible. Isn't it amazing? God can do the impossible possible, by containing something infinite in a finite book! Glory! But I digress, let me go back to my point.
So, we come here to pray and rejoice, and we are flooded - literally flooded - by hateful atheists, who apparently have nothing better to do than attack Christianity and offend God all day long. Where is our freedom of speech? Where is our freedom to worship our Mighty Creator?
I have to stop writing now, because I'm crying on the keyboard and I cannot see the screen anymore through my tears.

Jesus would have celebrated Hanukkah. As a matter of fact Jesus would have been celebrating all the Jewish holidays and have respected them.

Let's see what God has to to say about this:
Quote:
Colossians 2:16 (1611 King James Bible)
Let no man therefore iudge you in meat, or in drinke, or in respect of an Holy day, or of the New moone, or of the Sabbath dayes:

Why are you disobeying God here, friend?

Jesus is no kike. Read THIS and repent!
Please make a thread of your own in the " Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.
And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.
I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.
