So what, we are supposed to throw away the Bible just because some pope said something contrary to the Word of God?

Not at all. First, if you want to be savvy, get the Bible app on your phone. Easy. You wouldn't throw that away!
The Pope is a maverick for sure, and I don't see harm if he poses a radical new thought to provoke us now and then. I don't see how it affects the Bible in any case.
Have a nice day sister!

I will take this as you admitting that pope is not infallible. Thus, you either have no idea about Catholic faith, or you aren't really a Catholic; in either case, you shouldn't care much about what any pope says.

I'm not your sister.
Nonetheless, I will pray for you. Some of your statements give me faith that you can be Saved™ despite your life of sin. You certainly seem to have the gullibility malleability necessary to mold a True Christian™.

I am Catholic Basilissa, don't misunderstand me. It's true though, I don't pay much attention to the Pope, but he is intricate to my faith, nonetheless.

I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. I might lose a part of myself that I love so much. And I assure you I am not gullible, in fact, I'm a pretty smart and clever lady, you might notice.

I see. My family used to use the term "not practicing" Catholics to describe people like that. Which is basically atheists who get baptized and married in the Catholic Church and may or may not visit a church for Christmas and/or Easter.

You really are a funny one, aren't you, honey? Can anything be either above or below average in a set that doesn't exist?
Besides, the only person who can self-evaluate his high IQ correctly is President Trump:
We can objectively judge that the above statement is true because of the overall high quality of President Trump's ( ) tweets, as asserted by him here:

Wait a minute...
I know what you are doing, and it seems to me that you are secretly a Devil worshiper yourself! You are trying to argue that the Word of God is somehow internally incoherent and contradictory, as if God was on drugs when He dictated it!
That is an abominable and blasphemous idea!
You need to learn reading the Bible verses in context. In the first case, the context is Romans chapter 10. Pay special attention to Rom 10:12, and then then Paul's complains in Rom 10:19-21. What Paul says there, is that Jews are worthless sinners who keep turning away from God. So it's not God who turned away from the Jews, it's the Jews who turned away from God. So even though the Salvation originated among Jewish followers of Jesus, Jews themselves brought God's Wrath on themselves and no longer are God's chosen nation (now it's a question of faith, not nationality, Rom 10:12).
Quod erat demonstrandum.

I was not defending Judaism, but the jews who converted to Christianity. This includes Saints such as St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, who died in the Holocaust. What i was saying is that God did not abbandon the jews. An example can be seen as the Rothschild family, who are all jews and rich. Or George Soros, who is a millionaire. I know that jews who don't convert to Christianity goes to Hell. Also, Pope John XXIII said, quoting a biblical passage:
Quote:
Io sono Giuseppe, vostro fratello!
|
As for the race conversation, acutally Jesus and many pastors agree:
(Galatians 3:28) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Now if you would excuse me, i have to clean my church.

Sure, not the converted ones. I see we had a miscommunication based on the fact that we have a single word for Jews the religion and Jews the ethnicity. BTW, God had some serious sense of humor to kill that "saint" woman you mention after she converted from one false religion to another.

I probably don't want to know any details, but do I smell another lawsuit by a molested minor in a near future?
