  • Newlywed in need of advice.

    As a repented harlot, I have been married to the father of my child just 2 nights ago. As I understand my place in the home, and know of my duties to my husband I would like you ask the people of Landover for advice in my duties as a wife.

    If anyone can help me be a good Christian wife, I know it is the people of Landover. So my question to you is how can I be a good christian wife to my new husband?

    P.S. Thank you for your help in correcting my sins by pointing me in the correct and godly direction needed.

    Dress like a lady (no makeup, no jewelery, always wear a dress):

      And I have been studying avidly.....I am more looking for what a male wants if that makes any since and advice on how to do my job correctly and with no faulter. I wish to please my husband as much as the lord wills it!

        Why not ask your husband what he wants from you and then obey him?

          I have, and Im trying dearly. Im just looking for tips as to how I should keep a house....Things of that sort, On one of the other post I thought I had seen tips like these I just cannot locate it again.........

            The best advice I received was clean your house like Jesus was going to walk through the door, and cook your meals like Jesus was going to sit down to eat with you.

            For the women of Landover to discuss recipes, shoes, makeup tips, or whatever it is you natter about. Ensure you have the proper permission from your husband or father before posting.

              This is the best advice you can get. Even if you completely pleased your father, it doesn't mean it will please your husband. Learn what your husbands favorite foods are, learn how he likes things done, and if you're not sure ASK! Don't just assume you know the answer.

                Be sure to bake his favorite pies.
                Fetch his slippers.
                Make sure his breakfast is waiting for him in the morning.
                Always have a warm hearty meal waiting for him when he gets home from work.
                Know how to mix/pour his favorite drinks.
                Ask him what he wishes to wear and have his clothes laid out crisp and clean for him in the morning.
                If you have female friends who utter a disparaging word against him, refuse to see them anymore.
                Learn to accept his loving domestic discipline.
                Don't EVER question his authority.
                When it is that time of the month be sure to go to your menstrual hut.
                Let him have use of your body whenever he wants.

                      Thank you all for your wonderful advice my husband thanks you, Thanks to everyone's advice I have only make one mistake in the last weeks of my marriage, and I have learned to take my husbands corrections as a blessing. My husband Wishes to join your forum with the permission of your church. thank you again and praise be to jesus!

                        You can start by making sure my dinner is on the table when I get home. If I come home again and its still in the oven, you better be sure you will be corrected.
