The press is full of speculation about the letter. The Times knows who wrote it but will not tell. I am quite certain I know who is the author. Many years in politics whispers the answer in my ear.

First, remember the President has wanted to fire several people on his White House staff for a long time. They are people who have let him down. But, other staff put roadblocks in the President's path and several people who should not be there remain.

The President, then, needs powerful reasons to fire such people. He needs to roll right over those obstacles. What better reason is there than disloyalty. That is why the President himself wrote the letter.

You are going to see the President clean house. The reason behind the house cleaning will be disloyalty. He need not accuse anyone in particular of writing the letter, he is not a liar. But they are disloyal for other reasons and suspicion will remain in the public and press about the letter.

I read though the letter and recognized a style of the President. He is a modest and quiet man about his faith. The letter makes no reference to his religious convictions. He left out religion for his own personal reasons. That is key to understanding how we can be quite certain he is the author. If someone else had written the letter it would have mentioned the President's frequent reference to his Savior Jesus Christ.

You make a very convincing argument, Mayor Hold. However, this document is more than half page long. Our President is too busy to write such a long letter himself. I think he delegated his best wing-man to write the letter - Mike Pence. My suspicion is supported by the use of the word "lodestar" in the anonymous letter. That is not a word you hear often and I bet you never heard President Trump say it - it has too much of an elitist sound to it. I know for a fact I have never uttered it before today. Mike Pence, on the other hand, is quite fond of this word. Here is the evidence:

I'm starting to believe that, yes, Trump directed it but it could have been a lot of people. Could have been a 400 lb guy in New Jersey.

As Basilissa points out, Pence is the only American in more than 2 centuries to use the word "lodestar" so he had a hand in it. Boy isn't this distracting a lot of fun, almost like binge-watching reality TV. Hold the front page for the next 2 weeks people, possibly 2 years.

These are all interesting and helpful comments. I especially appreciate the contribution by Pastor Zeke because of his close relationship to the President.

But, there is evidence that puts the pen in the hand of the President himself. Look at this sentence from the letter:

We want the administration to succeed and think many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous.

This sentence was written by someone who wanted to send the famous message, "make America great again", but wanted to disguise it to appear like someone else's writing. I don't see how it could be anyone but the President.

It's now emerging that the President wrote the letter in such a way others would accuse John Huntsman of writing it. The President is so skilled at prose he can mimic the writing style of anyone in the country.

Huntsman is the U.S. Ambassador in Russia. The President has had a dislike for him almost since day one. Huntsman could have warded off all the Russian silliness by denying there ever were meetings or contacts. Instead, he has left out to dry the President, his son, Donnie Jr., and his son-in-law, Jerad Kushner.

I'm hoping that in the upcoming week Huntsman will be fired for insubordination and someone more loyal and honest will replace him.

The quest to unmask the New York Times op-ed writer has been filled with speculation. But the article’s prose points to one person in particular.

Trump needs to up the body count to show he is in charge. It's time to out some Deep State spies in the government and get the pardon wagon rolling. Scooter Libby showed the way and Bush finally grew enough chest hair to pardon him.

Also where are the heroic display of loyalty from Trump's people? Yes Trump wrote it himself but this is about a show of force. He should demand videoed statements from ALL of them saying what to do to the person when uncovered. If it's not the death penalty, that means you're guilty.

And everyone MUST agree to close down the Russia witch hunt.

I try not to get upset when people are dishonest, but a Professor and journalist in Texas are really annoying. People around the world first read about this intrigue when it was posted to start this thread here at Landover Baptist.net. No one had discovered the evidence Trump himself wrote the letter about things inside the White House. It was presented right here.

Now, however, these people are claiming to have come up with this discovery themselves. This Professor and journalist have sent their plagiarized writing across the U. S.

Is the Times' anonymous op-ed really a Trump manipulation?
