We are Independent Baptist KJAV 1611 Bible Literalists. That means that except where doing so would violate secular laws, we follow the entire King James Bible word for word. Many people lump us in with those liberals, the Protestants, simply becaue we are not Catholics.
Our church predates all other Christian churches, so we are a category of one. We are neither Protestant nor Catholic, we are True Christians™ destined to serve for eternity in Heaven when our Lord chooses to take us.
I hope that clears things up a bit.

Hello, actual Catholic here and I wanted to put my opinion on the table.
Firstly, "LoveThatGod", I thank you for helping to defend the one True Church, Roman Catholicism.
Secondly, I have to say I disagree with your user name. You do NOT love God, if you did you would not be an evil Presbyterian. Protestants are NOT Christians (as can be read in another topic I made, here: http://www.landoverbaptist.net/showthread.php?t=27731 )
You are destined into the eternal bowels of hell, along with all these Landover nutcases, unless you quickly repent of your religion (which makes you a half-atheist), and be saved through the Mother Church.

That's an odd way to talk about Jesus. Besides, He got His mum preggers with Himself, so He wasn't really a virgin.

Haven't you read the story of the wedding feast of Cana? Jesus wasn't going to do anything to help the wedding get more wine until Mary took pity on them and asked Jesus to help. Hopefully, Mary will have pity on you and ask Jesus to save you.

In Heaven and On Earth
The Bible directs us to invoke those in heaven and ask them to pray with us. Thus in Psalms 103, we pray, "Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, hearkening to the voice of his word! Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers that do his will!" (Ps. 103:20-21). And in Psalms 148 we pray, "Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the heights! Praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his host!" (Ps. 148:1-2).
Not only do those in heaven pray with us, they also pray for us. In the book of Revelation, we read: "[An] angel came and stood at the altar [in heaven] with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne; and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God" (Rev. 8:3-4).
And those in heaven who offer to God our prayers aren’t just angels, but humans as well. John sees that "the twenty-four elders [the leaders of the people of God in heaven] fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints" (Rev. 5:8). The simple fact is, as this passage shows: The saints in heaven offer to God the prayers of the saints on earth.

At least I'm not a former Jesus-killer. Try explaining that one to God.
No, I'm actually Norwegian Presbyterian. We believe that the Norwegian Presbyterians, along with the Dutch Catholics, were actually the first Christians. There is a little known text known as the NDCW (Norwegian/Dutch Christian Writings) that pretty much proves this to be true. Hence why I'm defending Catholics.

It occurs to me that any Catholic sent here would not be just your run of the mill ordinary Catholic. This after all, is Landover Baptist, the 'Big League' for the Catholic spoor!
What we have here is some kind of Papal emissary.
