When I go to Des Moines, I like to head over to the railroad yard and pay a couple of hobos to fight each other to their deaths while I watch. I have studied the Bible carefully, and I have not read anything prohibiting it, so I assume it's perfectly fine. However, some of the bums told me there were some cops hanging around the railyard that wanted to talk to me about violation of the municipal code.



Is there something wrong with paying bums to punch and claw each other while I watch? Or has America become a hopeless nanny state?

Perhaps Brother Montague should develop bum fighting as some kind of semi-professional extreme sport. You might chose a better venue than a railroad yard since that is trespassing on private property.

You know what I want to see once we've got welfare and all other rewards-for-laziness abolished? I'll call it "bread and circuses":

Fill a stadium with bums. Thousands of 'em. Put cameras all over the ceiling. Toss in a few boxinggloves with barbedwire and fishhooks in 'em, a few weedwackers, maybe a chainsaw or two if it's a special occation. Oh and the floor of the stadium is covered with bits of broken glass.

Then start tossing in loaves of bread, and watch 'em fight.

Last bum standing gets to regain their citizenship, just like in Roman times.

what about "THOU SHALT NOT MURDER/KILL"? you might argue you're not killing them actually. then you have to say the jews didn't kill jesus, because actually jesus was crucified by the romans...and neither the romans have killed him. because the hanging from the cross combined with the loss of blood killed him. and god made the body this way os it will die from loss of blood. wich lead us to the final conclusion that you are actually saying god killed jesus if you would argue this way. and you certainly wouldn't say that, or wouldn't you?

So long as they don't hurt a pregnant lady, I see no MAJOR problem with it.

Pugilism rules are covered in Exodus 21.

12 He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death.

How he dies is another matter.

I'd say he must continue to fight until there's no bums left.

Last bum standing, well, he has to be put to deat.

But then the rules in Exodus 21 only deal with (then) Hebrews and now True Christians ™.

Bums are little more than dogs anyway.

You need to familiarizes yourself with The Bible more then. What does the law says about Law Breakers; "their blood shall be upon them" So for instance a homer kills himself when he becomes a homer. When they are stoned to death it is Christian assisted suicide. This is merely the same thing.

but don't you think that the ten commandments weighing heavier in this matter as it explicitly refers to death by man. if god chooses to wipe people out he may do so but he explicitly forbid it in the commandments.

some ppl might act through the will of god but seeings bums fight would i think ridicule gods priorities...don't you think so?
