Well. we all know this great Country’s stance on Terrorism. We do NOT Negotiate with Terrorists! I happen to be a great believer in that statement. So you will understand when I say that after over TWO YEARS of these sick little emo-retards bullying me, harassing me, threatening me, threatening the lives of my family, slandering and abusing me in their blogs, calling me a “gutless a-hole” on their web forums, starting petitions against me, and making vicious death threats against me, you know what, I ain’t backing down! No way!

Not when children’s lives hang in the balance! Children like poor little Hanah Bond, who, after listening to ‘My Chemical Romance’s Satanic pro-suicide message of angst and self-harm, took her father’s shotgun, put it between her lips, and pulled the trigger…. or maybe she hung herself?? Who cares! I doesn’t really matter, the point is that she did it because Gerard Way (Leader, Founder and Spokesman of ‘My Chemical Romance’, and Cult Leader of the Emo Suicide Cult) probably TOLD HER TO DO IT! Seriously, this guy is wrong in the head, how can these kids not see that? I actually think he’s worse than Marlyn Manson, and that’s saying something.

For in the same way as Marylin Manson is responisble for the Columbine Massacre, so too is Gerard Way, the man behind ‘My Chemical Romance’, responsible for the suicide of Hanah Bond! Yes, it is obvious his music drove her to suicide, as it has done to probably countless other emos, Emos, and weirdos, and will continue to do if we don't stop this psychopath!

Finally, we come to Gerard Way’s mental stability, or rather, lack of it. I think I stated earlier in this article that this little freak belongs in a mental institution, and I think the quotes above reinforce that opinion. He openly admits that his ENTIRE BAND are ‘BORDERLINE PSYCHOTICS’, and even encourages his fans to commit acts of violence and destruction of property by telling them to ‘THROW THEIR TELEVISIONS’ out of ‘HOTEL WINDOWS’. He even ADMITS to owning a gun that fires his own excrement?? Wow! That’s psychotic! Seriously, we need to do something about this psycho before he harms MORE children!

So let's get one thing straight. Emo is dangerous. Very dangerous. If your child is mixing in Emo circles, you need to put a stop to it. And fast. It is sad to see younger and younger children being sucked into its world of sin, paranoia and pain. Self-harm is usually the first sign you should be worried about. Emo is a culture that makes suicide cool and cutting yourself the 'in' thing. So many Emo children attempting suicide, slitting their wrists because their friends encourage it and their Emo idols like Gerard Way make suicide a viable, cool and attractive option. Emos use extreme peer pressure to push children into self harming, and many begin cutting themselves just to be accepted with the friends. And so it begins, the slippery slope to suicide. Dressing in black like they are attending a funeral. If you live your life like every day is your funeral, how could you not come to an irrational conclusion? By the very nature of the Emo subculture is what causes children to harm themselves. It is disgusting!

If your child is mixing in Emo circles, he/she may well start showing signs of a violent nature, and this may lead to long-term mental problems if it is not caught soon enough. You need to help your child to realise that anti-social behaviour is not normal, and she should embrace life with both hands, at that age she could be a cheer-leader or dress in bright happy colours and attract the right kind of friends. The kind of friends who would not abuse her, brainwash her into being a mindless Emo sheep who hates the world. If she opened her eyes she would see God has given us a wonderful world and she could be so much more.

The best advice I can give you is to be vigilant. Talk to your child. Read her the Bible. Take her to church. Tell your children every day how much you love them. Be their friend. Let them know you are there for them. It really sickens me what these Emo predators like this Way scumbag, and sick Emo peer groups do to innocent children.

There is no cult. There's fans, yes, but a cult? MCR isn't telling people to believe in something religiously. The Black Parade is not a place that all emos think they'll go when they die. Being emo is not a religion.

In fact, Black Parade is very inspiring. "He (his father) said, 'Son, when you grow up, will you be the savior of the broken, the beaten, and the damned?' He said 'Will you defeat them? Your demons?'" I'm sorry, that is not negative.

Gerard even said, "It's most important to keep yourself alive, there's nothing worth hurting yourself over. I mean, I'm a person who goes through a lot of depression and stress and things like that. I'm generally happier these days. But I have, it's normal, it's completely normal to be depressed. I think it's more important to keep yourself alive, you just stay fighting." This is what saves lives.

People with depression feel like actual people when reading something like this, not just monsters. I know, trust me. Just Google "Gerard Way inspirational quotes" and you'll see that he's not a suicide cult leader, but someone who has fought against it himself and helps prevent people from taking that most final step. Someone who was once suicidal himself understands what we're going through and how to help, and he really does help.

In the lyrics "I'd rather go to hell than be in purgatory", he means "I'd rather suffer than have to wait". Not that he actually wants to go to hell.


In Greek mythology, Hades is the last one to choose his job and gets a job that he hates, which is dealing with the souls of the dead. He's saying that the devil gets all the souls of the dead who were bad people. So they're assholes and he has a shitty job and he's probably bored and in no way does this express sympathy for the devil.

Drug and alcohol addiction is a serious problem faced by many people. Anyone with decency would have the sense to respect that they need help to get over from the addiction rather than be labeled as terrible people.

And no, MCR fans are not going to start drinking blood. That's idiotic of you to even say. That's like saying that Hannibal fans are going to start eating people and harvesting their organs. You cannot make your daughter be anyone she isn't. You can't make her more "girly" (I use this term VERY loosely, because behavior shouldn't be linked to gender) if she's not. You can't make her do cheerleading. Well, you can, but she'll hate it if you push her into it. She'll be mad at you. She's a teenager. Teenagers have angst and need to express themselves.

Also being introverted or antisocial is not a crime. It's ok to be quiet. It's ok to like being alone, especially if you need it sometimes. It's a natural personality type that many people have. I'd rather be quiet and polite than loud and rude and mean any day (and oh, how many people I know who are like that!)

The insinuation that listening to a particular genre of music will give you mental issues is ridiculous. Lots of people with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, etc. are fans of this kind of music to help cope with their condition. Or shockingly people who are ok actually like this music. MCR's song Sing was on the radio for ages and I knew a lot of people who liked it. And they were neurotypical.

AND my friends who like this kind of music do not abuse me in any way. They're there for me more than any of the "right kind of friends" are.

I'm not considered emo because I wear "normal" stuff (maybe more grey than other people, but it just goes with everything) and listen to other genres and I'm just kind of there. Listening to this kind of music doesn't automatically make you emo.

I understand why you'd be concerned at first. Really, I do. Gerard wears a lot of creepy make up and the lyrics have riveting, powerful, usually dark messages and the music itself is pretty intense. There's a lot of emo people who do listen to MCR. A lot of suicidal people are fans of the band. But there's no need to attack the lead singer. He has helped many people with depression (very satanic! must be stopped!) and is inspirational to many teenagers who are going through a rough patch. Gerard Way is not who you need to be worried about.

The only reason to be concerned about your kid being "emo" is making sure they don't actually have depression or is self harming. Even then, don't force them to be someone they aren't. Take them to therapy. Help them. Taking away their music and their type of clothes isn't going to do anything but hurt them.

I apologize for my snark, but this is very important to me. Gerard is not a bad guy. He's not satanic. Cross dressers, people of the trans* community, the LGBT (and others) community, and people with mental disabilities are not evil (and I'm very offended that this has been implied). I'd be more concerned about rape culture in music (ahem, Blurred Lines, anyone?) And you know what? You're arguments are flawed. There's always going to be people who still believe that MCR is satanic or whatever, but look at the facts. The real facts. Thanks.
