Speaking of your kids, where is my apology?
I already told you I do not have "kids" I have CHILDREN. In WEBSTER'S it states a "kid" is a young GOAT, Since I did not give birth to goats, I have CHILDREN. Oh never mind, you don't understand anyway, believe what you wish.
Ask your "God" for an apology.

Right, and I suppose if your children wanted to join a suicide cult, you'd also let them CHOOSE to do so.

Actually, it seems Mrs. WickedCouple, you need to review what your mother's "non-Christian Church of Christ" believes:
Quote:
What does the church of Christ believe about the Bible?
The original autographs of the sixty six books which make up the Bible are considered to have been divinely inspired, by which it is meant that they are infallible and authoritative. Reference to the scriptures is made in settling every religious question. A pronouncement from the scripture is considered the final word. The basic textbook of the church and the basis for all preaching is the Bible.
|
Quote:
Does the church of Christ have a creed?
No. At least, there is no creed in the usual sense of the word. The belief of the church is stated fully and completely in the Bible. There is no other manual or discipline to which the members of the church of Christ give their allegiance. The Bible is considered as the only infallible guide to heaven.

You come to our forum, disputing and putting down our views, and we're supposed to be all lovey dovey to you?
This is the exact same thing mooselimbs are doing. They come to our country and start demanding stuff, claiming rights. It's clearly pure egoism.

It's called debating. Yes I have a bad habit of letting my emotions run wild and I am a VERY blunt person I do not deny that and I also will not deny that I will not change that about myself, If it smells like BS to me I will call it out just like I see it, I may be mistaken, but I am entitled to my opinions as you are yours, savvy.

No, insulting people is NOT called debating.
And "blunt" is not the same as "rude" or "tactless".
Why are you not responding to my quotes from the "non-Christian" Church of Christ's website? Your children are learning that they should kill you, according to the Church of Christ.

It's not a debate, you barge in and start spewing stuff contrary to our beliefs, isn't it only logical we answer? If you want a debate, go to a debating website, where people voluntarily defend their point of view. Here, you're forcing us to.

It helps to leave out the part of the definition that proves you wrong, doesn't it? Let's try this again, but with all the definitions...

Considering how obvious it is that we both referenced the exact same website, the only way you could have missed the third definition was that you deliberately didn't quote it. That makes you a liar. Like I said, I don't expect an apology any more as you are such a putrid sinner, an apology would burn in your maw about as painfully as the truth would
It also comes as no surprise that you would deliberately choose to ignore what's right in front of your eyes, as you clearly have chosen to ignore God's Truth, which is also right in front of your eyes.
I'm fine with all of this. The way your play fast and loose with the truth only shows how corrupt Wicceds are, and now we have your very own words here as a shining example of the hypocrisy and deceit common in your kind. I thought at first Jesus led you here to help save you, but now I see that His plan was quite different. He sure works in mysterious ways! Praise Jesus!
I do feel sorry for your kids though. How are they going to feel the day they learn that their mother is a nasty liar? You must really hate them to want to break their hearts like that.

Please don't be absurd. Of course the word kid is used to mean human children. It is near idiotic to pretend otherwise. An out of date dictionary definition proves nothing. Dictionaries (with the exception of some very old ones) are designed on "descriptive" principles -- they describe how the language is used; they don't, as is often mistakenly thought, prescribe how it ought to be used. Any modern dictionary will give the definition of kid meaning a human child. Meaning and grammar, like it or not, is derived from usage and usage is always in a state of flux. If usage and grammar didn't change we'd all be still talking and writing the way Chaucer did.
If you are going to insist on not accepting any metaphorical or figurative usages, you are on very dangerous ground. It will mean that a great deal of your own usage is also "wrong".
And I simply don't believe that what you have quoted is the full definition. You are taking the pare that suits you and ignoring the rest.
I've just checked. You are a liar as well as a fool:
http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/kid
Main Entry: 1kid <javascript :popWin('/cgi-bin/audio.pl?kid00001.wav=kid')> <javascript :popWin('/cgi-bin/audio.pl?kid00001.wav=kid')>
Pronunciation: 'kid
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English kide, of Scandinavian origin; akin to Old Norse kith kid
1 a : a young goat b : a young individual of various animals related to the goat
2 a : the flesh, fur, or skin of a kid b : something made of kid
3 : a young person; especially : CHILD </dictionary/child> -- often used as a generalized reference to one especially younger or less experienced <the kid on the pro golf tour> <poor kid> - kid·dish <javascript :popWin('/cgi-bin/audio.pl?kiddis01.wav=kiddish')> <javascript :popWin('/cgi-bin/audio.pl?kiddis01.wav=kiddish')>/'ki-dish/ adjective
May the Lord have mercy on your poor soul. And may your poor children be protected from your lies and idiocy.
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

It seems we cross-posted, Sister. My post adds nothing to what you have said, but I'll let it stand. The point being made twice will do no harm.
Have you ever seen such a silly and puerile attempt at deception ever before in your life? After seeing what this pitiful woman had done, I was at first astonished, then angered, then burst into laughter.
On reflection she derserves our pity. The demons of mendacity and duplicity have the sad creature in a stranglehold and it is plainly futile to expect rationality or honesty from her. I suspect that even amongst Wiccans she would be considered dishonest. What really does make one want to weep is that a creature like this has children. What a sad and troubled life must be in store for anyone brought up by a person so deceitful as this one.
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
