Just like you & me, Donald Trump has been watching, and he has been waiting. Ever patient, he knows that the clock is ticking towards the day that Obama leaves the White House for the last time (we hope!).

To you & me, it might seem like a relief just to have him out of there. But not to Donald! To him, it is an OPPORTUNITY of a lifetime. Much like our forefathers, Donald looks to throw off the yoke of oppression and, like all great men, decided to take the bull by the horns.

He STEPPED UP, and quietly and respectfully decided to run for the highest office in the land. This is the kind of man we need running the free world: a take-charge kind of man. A man not so meek that he is afraid to make a mistake. A man who will not back down regardless of the circumstances. A man who is for the people.

For us true Republicans, sick of wannabe RINOs, it looks like we finally got a candidate in Donald who is the real deal.

Abortion: firmly against it, since 2011.

Devout Christian: he always goes to Church when he can (at Christmas). He isn't fussy about which one either - presbytarian, episcopalian, catholic.

Voting record: straight down the line Republican, and sometimes demoncrat and 3rd party.

Military: fought like a Navy Seal during Vietnam (to avoid the draft). Eager to start conflicts in Middle East, Mexico, China.

Immigration: will hire Mexico to build a wall around itself, then send them the bill. Perfection.

Healthcare: solidly against socialized medicine in the form of Obamacare. Prefers universal healthcare. I'm sure he'll fine tune the details on this to eliminate moochers, drug users and poor people (same thing).

With his arms outstretched like that, and with his airplane right behind him, it looks like brother Donald Trump is on the verge of ascending into Heaven, much like Elijah when he was lifted up in a chariot of fire. 2 Kings 2:11

Fortunately for us, he knows he still has much to accomplish on this Earth and many souls to save before doing so.

Oh, yeah. They laughed when I said he would be the Republican nominee. I have to tell you, I'm getting congratulatory calls from around the country. My explanation for correctly picking Donald is a life in politics and a lot of prayer. Jesus knows how this stuff is going to end up and that's how I knew.
