Oh jeez; I almost pee'd myself at that one. Brother V rebuked on Biblical matters by a kiddie diddler that talks to statues. Oh man, I can't take it any more; my sides are killing me I'm laughing so hard...

The repetitions are not vain (they do have a purpose).
Jesus has never denied any of his Mother's requests.

But Peter and the apostles said in reply, "We must obey God rather than men."

Jesus didn't like to do things His mother asked Him while He was on earth. What makes you think He'll like to do them for the rest of eternity?

When she and her yid son wanted to be allowed into Jesus' presence, He ignores and insults them by saying that his mother and brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.

"His hour" meant his Passion.
Right after that, she told the crowds (her last words in the Bible)
"Do whatever He tells you."
For this one of the titles we give her is the Mother of Good Counsel (advice). That is why we honor her. We don't do anything which belongs to God alone, we just see her for who she is; a way for us to be closer to her Son.

Yes, we are familiar with the story. Do you read Jesus words? He's sitting there with His friends at a wedding festival, and His mother comes up and starts nagging, like every jooish mother does.
Jesus, a grown man now, says "Woman, what have I to do with thee"
Not, "yes mom, whatever you want". Not, "thy will be done".
Jesus in front of all His friends, complains about being hen-pecked by His mother.
Later when He's hanging on the cross, He has some choice words for her too.
John 19:26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
Mary was probably standing there crying, thinking about how much shame having her son crucified would bring, and Jesus is like "Me, look at ME!!! I'm the one hanging from the friggin cross!!!"

John 19:27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
He was talking about the "disciple" (commonly believed to be John), and thus entrusting his Church to the Blessed Mother's care.

Get your stupid story straight..
Do you claim your false church is founded on Peter, or on Mary, or on John?
As for us, our Church is founded on the teachings of Jesus -
And the FAITH that Peter had, which is what earned him the name of rock. (ie Peter)
His faith was the rock, and by it He was given authority by God.
BUT GOD NEVER SAID THAT THIS "OFFICE" SHOULD BE PASSED ON!
ESPECIALLY NOT THROUGH HUMAN DECISIONS!
And notice in the above verse that HE (the disciple) took HER (Mary) to HIS home!
So rather, Jesus entrusted his mother to the disciple, not the other way around.
How typical of you cathylicks to reverse the meaning of scripture.
Quite literally in this case too, as in your mind, you literally reverse that last sentence!
BTW Peter wasn't infallible. The Bible proves this. (Matthew 16:22-23)
So how can the pope claim not only the authority of Peter, but infallability - when not even Peter was infallible?
Try answering that, you heretic scumbag.
If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: But if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
A foolish woman is clamorous: She is simple, and knoweth nothing.
Proverbs 9:12-13

And? You're saying that we should worship Mary because she tells us to do what Jesus tells us to do? I say you should do whatever He tells you to do as well, are you going to start praying to me now?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.
