At home in the Godless UK I sometimes let go of the wheel close my eyes and let Jesus take the wheel for 30 seconds or so, full trust in Him and I refuse to be distracted by the occasional blaring of horns.

I'm now in Mary worshipping Spain and even though I'm driving on the other side of the road Jesus is still perfectly in control. He is looking after all seven of us including my one year old grandaughter splendidly. Jesus really is the ULTIMATE cruise control.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Hello Jack O'fagan.

I like the verse you posted I also like the one right after that it is Proverbs 3:6 it says:

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

When I went to buy my last car the person there asked me if I wanted to have the satellite navigation system and I said No I do not because Jesus will tell me where to go maybe you should read Proverbs but he did not have a Bible in his office.

Sometimes when I get lost I think that maybe I am forgetting to acknowledge Him I will work on that part of my head is missing.

I feel that Jesus should take the wheel as often as He pleases. Who am I to tell Jesus He can't drive? I wouldn't take the keys from Him even if He was $h!t-f@¢£d drunk or smoking reefer. I just bite my lip and say nothing as He accelerates and veers towards a group of trick or treaters crossing the road at twilight...Jesus knows who He wants to smite!
