If Jesus has time to lol at crippled sparrows and count hairs, then I'm sure He has the time to advise His faithful servants about computer issues. Honey, the reason people convert to Christianity is so that they don't have to think for themselves. Why would you waste your time doing something like that when all your thoughts are already written for you in a dusty old book?

I have it on good authority that your Jesus would NOT upgrade to Vista because then all his HD porn videos would not run properly with the Vista drivers.

Brother Larry Lee, it is clear that we should be upgrading our computers to Vista. While the prices may seem like something the devil cooked up, they will in fact help our Godly country's economy. You see, not only will most people have to purchase the new operating system but they will also have to most likely upgrade the whole mess of their computers (according to anything I read in my Godly research). New rams and videa cards along with that new operating system, for every computer. Why just think of how much funding that would send circulating in this country!
The DRM stuff may seem like an issue too. But consider that it will also stimulate the market even more since folks will have to get a whole new monitor or tv screen that uses the right little plug in things. Friends, this is truly a great time for the United States- We're still winning the War On Camel Jockies. We'll be getting a good economic kick with all the new computer doohickies being bought. And we've still got Godly George W Bush at the helm.

I do see your point, Brother, but is this not an argument that applies to the unsaved trash of the world rather than to we True Christians™?
Brother Larry's question was, when all said and done, what would Jesus do, and I have no doubt that Jesus would stick with XP for several months at least. Probably at least until Vista service Pack II is released.
I suggest, in light of what you have said, that we encourage unsaved trash to upgrade immediately and be caught in all these traps, while we, the anointed, stay with CP.

Brother Eno, if you want the insecurities of such a (comparatively) old operating system you can keep on chugging with your XP. But don't go crying to the Lord when the demons invade your computer. It is clear that God is preparing our country in case the Demoncrats take over in '08. We'll need a steady economy and secure computers if we don't want them bankrupting our country and hacking into all of our Godly computers. Besides, who doesn't want the video card power necesary to properly enjoy the Microsoft Flight Simulator (only while flying AMERICAN planes)?
