As a mother to many, I often receive requests from my children to see movies. My children have an ample selection of movies to watch, from the Left Behind series to reenactments of the Life of Christ as recorded in the Gospels in painstaking detail to dialog, there’s no reason to taint their little brains with spiritual garbage. For this reason, I won’t be supporting Star Wars, The Last Jedi, and neither should you. If you are a parent you may recall watching these movies in the theaters with your parents or friends with fond memories. I urge you to resist the temptation to share this as a bonding opportunity with your own children. There is no such thing as experiencing the magic again for the first time.
I’ve taken the time to compile a few problems with this spiritually repulsive movie, and Biblical rebukes to use against those who ask if you’ve seen it yet. I encourage anyone to join me and my children outside the various AMC theaters in Des Moines to yell Bible verses and hurl rebuking stones at patrons of this movie. Please PM or call me if you wish to carpool. We have reserved 14 church vans that can seat at least 13 people and 20 average sized stoning buckets.
