You are right, as always, Brother Des! I am constantly in awe of your Godly discernment. Mrs. Des is one lucky woman to have such a strong, capable, fit manly man by her side (or rather, a few steps in front of her).

How I would love to visit Freehold! I asked Mr. McIrish about your generous offer to share your wisdom on Christian Domestic Discipline, but he just grunted into his pint, cuffed me upside the head, and told me to go make him a sandwich. Well, it's my own silly fault for trying to have a conversation while he's in his cups! Honestly, I should know better.

The late Missus, I'm afraid. She mistook the dogs nerve pills for breath mints and washed them down with my best scotch. It was a sad funeral. I buried the bottle in my family plot while her body was being shipped back to her relatives in Texas.

50 years old. But thanks to the generous donations of my True Christian™ brethren, I have enough in stock to last until judgement day. And this even after I tithed Pastor Zeke 50% of it! . They really went above and beyond in seeing that I made it through that painful episode. So far above and beyond that they depleted the world inventory. Now that's True Christian™ charity right there!

Dear, I believe our prayers are working...as you noted, he cuffed you when you were being foolish. Maybe he is slowly coming back to his senses and Jesus is filling him with His manly grace and power to be a good husband to you.

Why, just last night, Mr. McIrish was very displeased with my meatloaf (it came out a bit burnt ... my own fault, of course), so he had a few words with me about it.

I'm going to have to wear sunglasses for a few days to keep our nosy neighbors at bay. They've called the police before. I don't understand why anyone would question my husband, whose only "crime" is caring enough about me to deliver Christian Domestic Discipline as God commands (well, that and being Papish).
