*sigh* The Un-Godly comments of teens today. -
01-30-2007, 01:40 AM
So, I am currently a teacher in a public high school (yes, I know I am asking for trouble there...but it gives me money to pay the bills until I can find a Christian husband to provide for me).
The teens are such little demons. They try to involve theirselves in all of their teachers personal lives.
Today they tried to insult me 4 times. The insults were:
(1) Don't mind her she's probably still a virgin.
My response to that was the following:
You talk like that is a bad thing. I will proudly admit that I am still a virgin. I am not married, and will not have sex until after I am married. The kids jaws just dropped as they stared speechless.
(2) She's just a conservative mornon.
My response:
Conservatives are not mormons, their heads are far more level than liberals heads are. I will admit that I am conservative, I believe it is a good thing. So, call me conservative all you want, it doesn't bother me.
(3) You dress too old, you look like you are 30.
My response:
Well, at least I dress modestly, unlike some of you whores.
(4) Oh she's probably Christian.
My response:
Yes, I am. I am not going to take that as an insult. I will proudly admit that I am a Christian.
The kids got upset that all of their atempts at insults failed to insult me. I guess it just goes to show how stupid heathens are.
It just amazes me that they could think in such unholy ways.

Gracious, Sister! Quit that unGodly job now before it's too late!
1 Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
I see that you are committed to Jesus, but the road is a narrow one and doing a man's job is not the way to go!

You little tramp ! What makes you think that you are able or even allowed to teach?

I think that clears it up pretty well, don't you?

Here on God's Forums we use God's Language: American. I assure you that if you don't learn His Language, you WILL burn in Hell. And as a supposed teacher, I am surprised that you don't know better No wonder those chinks are out-scoring us year after year on those so-called "standardized tests".

Now hold up, woman. Let's not go assuming things that aren't true! God (via His ministers at Landover) will be the judge of your Salvation. You, one who can't even remove the nearest tallywhacker from her mouth long enough to utter an understandable sentence, are not one to determine the status of your Salvation!

I assume you are not an English teacher?
That said, while your choice of occupation is inappropriate for a young lady, your responses to those vile brats are commendable.
Which version of the King James 1611 do you use in teaching? The hardcover, softcover, or large-print?
This being Mother Glynndie's HELP forum, I assume you have a question?

No, I am not an English teacher. I am a mathematics teacher.
Thank you for being kind in your correction of my occupation. I was unaware that non-church teaching was not meant for women. I always took that verse to mean teaching in the the church, not outside the church. But, it looks like I stand corrected.
I use the hardcover, so I can smack the kids with it if I need to.

I guess it was more of an indirect question of how to deal with the vile children.
But, despite my lack of posting the question, I was still helped by being corrected on my occupation, so I was able to get help from this help forum afterall.

Math? The only math you as a woman needs to know is the math needed for baking and cooking.

Does the verse say "But I suffer not a woman to teach in church"? No, it does not, it says that HE doesn't suffer a woman to teach, period. At least now you understand how you were wrong. I'd reccomend quiting that job ASAP, begging JESUS for forgiveness, and sending a large love offering to HIS Favorite Church.

This does bring up an interesting question.
Who should teach home economics?
Surely, we wouldn't want to have men teaching little girls to sew and bake and change diapers, would we?

Why do we have home economics at school anyway? Young girls should be at home watching their mothers and learning that way. Other than learning to read so we can study the Bible, is there any point to educating young ladies? I know I don't put any of my education to use beyond language, and that's just fine!

Well, some of those young ladies might wish to find True Christian husbands, but be born to heathen Mammonites.
Their mothers may well wear pants, and work in offices as CEOs or CFOs.
Should these young ladies be condemned to spinsterhood simply because of their disadvantaged upbringing?

I assume you teach the biblically correct math. such as value of Pi is 3, and how 1+1+1=1 as shown by The Trinity?

Then there could be a program to send young ladies out to True Christian homes to follow the mothers, maids, and cooks around until they learn everything they need.
Besides, once they know how to read, they can crack open a cookbook and follow the recipes! If they have trouble with that, they can start up a Ladies Of Landover branch where fellowship with other disadvantaged children of heathens can get together and share their cooking and cleaning knowledge.

1 Kings 7:23 And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.

Brother, I have no problem with a woman "teaching" unsaved people. If we read:
1 Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
You will see it says "I suffer not a woman to teach the man" It doesn't say women are not to teach. Only not to teach men.
I have further conviction on this.
1. School age children are not MEN.
2. Unsaved "people" are not really men. Anyone who is hellbound really isn't a "man" in my eyes. They are less than a man, more like... um... flightless birds (still unclean).
I find it refreshing that our possible future dear sister GDNWP isn't teaching "ScIeNce" or Physical Education (of which we know those are expressly forbidden in the Bible KJV1611).

Sister, the mothers, maids, etc. would STILL be teaching, just not getting paid for it.
And we know that it's OK for women to engage in income-generating activities:
Genesis 38:15-17
When Judah (one of the patriarchs, that is; a pre-Jesus Godly Man) saw her, he thought her to be an harlot; because she had covered her face.
And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray thee, let me come in unto thee; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What wilt thou give me, that thou mayest come in unto me?
And he said, I will send thee a kid from the flock. And she said, Wilt thou give me a pledge, till thou send it?
Thus it appears that the objection is not to women earning income for instruction.
So, why should women not teach girls about things like cooking and cleaning and sewing and birthin' babies, and bring home a little income to buy nice slippers and such for their husbands?
You wouldn't want a fine young Christian lady to be running about hysterical when her cousin's water breaks, would you? "I don't know nuthin' 'bout birthin' babies!"
Edit: Brother V makes excellent points above, as well!

Thank you Brother.
If we read in Titus, we see that women are commanded to teach.
Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
That sounds exactly like what should be taught in home economics classes.
PRAISE JESUS!!!
