The Issue of My Wife -
11-09-2008, 10:02 PM
As it is written in Leviticus 15:19:
Quote:
19 And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.

I have placed a Tough Shed™ at the rear of the lot of my home for this purpose. It is furnished with a folding cot, a wash basin and pitcher, and a bucket.
My question is regarding Winter. As I live in a somewhat cold part of the country, near the Canadian border, I wonder if some sort of heating appliance should be installed in the shed. I can find no scriptural reference that would require it, but my wife sometimes asks, politely, if such a thing is possible.
I hand myself over to the wisdom of the elders of this forum in this matter.

Are you some kind of heartless fool? Of course she needs heat. You don't really have a wife, do you?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Mr. BS, I strongly urge you to come clean. Jesus sees through your subterfuge. No True Christian™ Man would worry over such things.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Thank you. Certainly, I thought heat was necessary, but I needed some affirmation of that. Sometimes scripture can be difficult to interpret, and wiser heads can clarify things.

I am very sorry that you think that. Asking questions about things helps me understand what I should do. I am very new at this, so I sometimes make mistakes in understanding the Word. I appreciate the help I am finding here and hope I will be able to prove my sincerity in time.

Pastor Ezekiel,
I mean no disrespect in this place. I am still a stranger here. Given time, I will learn the ways and make fewer errors.
As it is written in Job 19:
Quote:
2 How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words?
3 These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me.
4 And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself.
|
Is it not written in Leviticus 19?:
Quote:
33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.
|
Please be patient with me and I will adjust to the standards of this place, for I believe there is truth to be found here.
