Jesus triumphed over death and is now in Heaven. We know that because He's been seen there. Jesus would not want idols made of Himself and whether people pray to an idol pretending to be Jesus or pretending to be Mary or Anthony (whoever he was) makes no difference. They might as well pray to Dr Nefario.
ACTS 7 . KJV . look up
54c-56 They gnashed on [Stephen] with their teeth but he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, and said, Behold I see the heavens opened and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
Stephen was a real person who loved Jesus. That wouldn't stop pagans like Pope Frank from making an idol and praying to it which would be exactly as effective as praying to batgirl but Jesus is absolutely certain that all idolatry is evil. No pope has ever believed in Jesus even though they sell trashy statues called "Jesus" and "Mary" and I'm sure they'll sell you a "Stephen" if you want one so my question for Pastor Isaac, is their idol really a statue of Jesus at all? The linked article said that she was attempting
“to worship the Lord” which I suppose means Jesus using an idol she thought was
“Saint Anthony” but which was actually Elrond, a fi
ctional character. So if they can't tell one idol from another, in their delusion, are any of them an actual likeness of anything? Is the Jesus idol actually a likeness of Jesus?
