A little history lesson for you folks. Up to the fall of the roman empire christianity was a religion of peace and tolerance, which is also why chistians and our beloved Jesus himself got killed by the romans in first place.
Why does devious religions as islam, mormons, sactary movements appears according to you ?
Because the current mainstream religion doesn't fit the current needs of the current society. Opression, rejection and intolerance are the growth factors of all pagan religion.
Personally I'd rather have the most people possible on our side with god and the bible than having them fleeing over to islam and such just because we were dumb enough to reject them for outdated scriptures. In the end it just helps fueling the religious wars, pain, dismay and horror in the world.

I hope someday most of you will understand that tolerance and even further acceptance is the first step to a better world, because we were all given a different body and personality by god.

Feel free to quote chapter and verse of the scriptures we've gotten wrong. We certainly aren't going to disband God's favorite church based on your vague accusations.
